My sister and I stayed here over the 4th of July weekend. We were amazed at how close all the Huntsville attractions were from this "in the country" home. Valerie and Patrick are great hosts and not enough can be said about the terrific breakfasts. We're already planning to go back to Huntsville in the fall and will definitely stay... More

Beautiful old home converted into a B&B. Kelly was wonderful and the breakfast was very well executed, fresh baked breads, fresh fruit, and quiche and omelets made with fresh vegetables. With accommodation made for dietary restrictions. Will stay again on next visit to the area.

Devon Cottage is beautifully furnished and decorated English cottage with all the amenities. We stayed there for 3 weeks. Has an excellent floor plan. Felt like we were staying at our grandparents homes. Kitchen is fully equipped. Clean washer and dryer. Just bring your clothes and food.

We so enjoyed Valerie and Patrick's hospitality. Such attention to detail--in comfort, decor, food--and a different fold to the cloth napkins every morning! Their recommendations for places of interest and restaurants was so helpful. Highly recommend this B & B and would definitely book another stay.

We wanted a place to meet our friends and couldn't have found a more perfect spot.. We rented the little cottage. It was perfect for the two couples. Two bedrooms and two baths. We were close to downtown while still feeling Ike we were out in the country. It was so much more comfortable than renting two motel rooms, which... More

We loved this place the owners went out of their way to accommodate my dietary needs of having to eat gluten free normal breads are offered fresh I told the hostess she did not have to worry about making special bread for me but she insisted that I have some type of bread so she made a special trip to... My friend and I drove from opposite directions to meet for a girl-getaway weekend at the Manor. We arrived just in time for a prearranged high tea on a rainy, cold Friday in January. Our hostess had warm scones from the oven and a hot pot of tea ready along with lots of other delightful things. Each time we came... More

Wonderful experience! Very hospitable hosts that were great with advice on where to have dinner downtown. The home has very lovely decor. GREAT breakfast - very filling and delicious. My husband and I stayed one night in one of the Magnolia room upstairs and it was nice that no one else was staying upstairs, since it didn't have an on-suite.... More

We stayed here one night while we passed through Alabama on a road trip to visit family. The hosts were gracious and easy-going about our late arrival, as well as the fact that we had forgotten to mention some dietary restrictions to them. Their house is lovely! Our room was the dogwood room, and--while it was very pretty--we didn't really... More

We have taken extreme care to make all the antique beds as comfortable as possible. The bed in the Dogwood Room has been taken completely apart and put back together in a manner that we hope is much better. Please mention any dietary restrictions when you make your reservation and we will be happy to accommodate you. More

Stayed here two nights after our wedding and would have stayed longer given more time! The house and grounds are beautiful and well kept. It's a perfect and quaint getaway from the city, but still close enough to tour around during the day. Breakfast was phenomenal, staff was hospitable, rooms were wonderful. We will definitely plan on coming back!
