Spent one night here while visiting the area. Room 319, a queen suite (non-smoking) was spacious and had a well-appointed kitchen. No daily housekeeping; this property is meant for longer stays. Interior corridors, fridge and microwave, dishwasher, pots and pans, and 4-cup coffeemaker. Guest laundry, also so this is a great place to spend a few nights if you need... More

We arrived a little early and had no problem getting an early checkin. I was surprised that the restaurant wasn't open for lunch. But the bartender was very helpful in directing me to the Jim'nNicks BBQ next door.

I enjoyed the well planned kitchenette and the multipurpose counter/table. I also enjoyed the location being close to Sprouts Farmers Market. Being able to borrow extra appliances at the front desk was fabulous. And I have never seen a friendlier front desk team. We need more hotels like Candlewood throughout the country!

Booked this hotel on the way during a bad thunderstorm. It is a bit off the interstate, but not far.. It is located in an office park setting. Room was adequate with a queen bed and a small kitchen, which we did not use. All in all a decent stop for the money, booked on hotels tonight. Rate was same... More

I have stayed in several Candlewood's and love them all including this one. Walking into your room is really like walking into home. And you can't beat $52.00 a night! The staff was friendly and the assortment of items---crock pot, blender, board games--available for borrowing is a real asset.

We have stayed at this Candlewood Suites now twice over the past two years while participating in an art show in downtown Birmingham. Always nice to stay in a suite with a kitchen set up. The staff here is friendly and engaging, the rooms are clean, and their are lots of restaurants in the area to choose from. We found... More

The rooms were very nice--and the kitchen area was well-equipped and very clean. The staff were very helpful and courteous. A bonus was the loaner program--the DVD's were a big hit. A pool would have been nice, but since I knew it lacked one when I booked, I can't complain. All in all, a wonderful experience.

First off, let me clarify that I travel weekly for my job and I frequent the Candlewood chain quite often when I am on the road. On Monday when I checked in late in the evening (after 8pm) my room was 80 degrees. Let me tell you how frustrating that is, when I have been traveling and it has been... More

I will start by saying if you want to be downtown this is obviously not the hotel for you. It's off 280 which can be very congested if your not familiar with the area. But close to the summit for shopping and whole foods for yummy stuff and a ton of restaurants. I came down for some medical stuff and... More
