Being from Atlanta, I stupidly predetermined the quality of any hotel that I would find here in Guntersville, AL. I am ashamed to say this because I have found that this Hampton Inn is one of the BEST hotels that I have visited. The quality and style intertwined with the southern hospitality makes for a wonderful combination. We plan to... more

Stayed here in Oct. The Hampton Inn is right next to Wintzell's Oyster House and about 6-7 miles from the State Park. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Very responsive to any of your needs. Room was nice. We stayed in king room. It had free wireless. Also had a desk and chair and another winged back chair and... more

We very much enjoyed our overnight stay at this property. The check-in process was very quick and the staff member (Sherri, I believe) was very friendly and helpful. The room and public areas were all very clean. The lobby/breakfast and pool areas had nice decoration and landscaping for a property of this type. Two restaurants adjacent (one fast-food). Have stayed... more

When we arrived, the girl on checkin was overwhelmed. It took a while on checking us in, phones were ringing , other people were waiting to check in, we joked with her about helping her check people in because the GM simply walked by her to leave for the day without even acknowledging us, her, or the other people checking... more

We were visiting family in the Boaz area and chose this hotel from the reviews. They were right, the place was great. It sits up on a hill overlooking 2 lakes, on on each side of the building. The outdoor pool was clean, as was the entire hotel. Very pleased with the service, staff and cleanliness. The town it is... more

Our compliments to the staff of the Hampton in Guntersville, AL. They were so friendly and accommodating. The hotel is situated on top of a hill overlooking Lake Guntersville. There is a walkway down to the lake, and benches on the dock just for Hampton Inn customers. The rooms were very nice, clean, and the breakfast was good, too. No... more
