The lodge is a wonderful facility with breathtaking views of Lake Guntersville and the surrounding area. The rooms look great, although we have not stayed in one. The rates are very reasonable for the quality of the accommodation. The restaurant is a little hit and miss but always acceptable. The buffets are well worth the price and the outlook while... More

My husband and I stayed 3 nights in a chalet for an Eagle Awareness Weekend. I would highly recommend the eagle program! The chalet was spacious, but stuck in the 80's. The tv is small and far from the viewing area, but we just moved the couch to the fireplace and enjoyed relaxing in the warmth.

We actually stayed in one of the chalets. The view was spectacular. The chalet was nice and clean. Not the most "up-to-date" furnishings, but adequate. The food in the lodge restaurant was good (we especially enjoyed the seafood buffet on Friday night) and the service was over the top even with extreme crowds. Not much to do other than enjoy... We checked in on a Sunday after an Eagle Awareness weekend that was a full house and they were wonderful to let us check in as soon as they had a clean room, not waiting until 4. The place is lovely, view out our 1st floor patio was wonderful, blackout curtains good, beds good, extra mirror outside the bathroom very... More

Great place lots to do from hiking to golf to just hanging out, The food was good and the rooms had a great view of the lake, plenty of room with a microwave and fridge. We were there for New Years Eve and had a great time.

Our church had a conference here, and the staff and facilities were excellent. The area is gorgeous, and rental rates are reasonable. We plan to use them again next year, and hopefully extend the event because we were so pleased with the site.

Stayed here for conference in December, facility is easy to find, check in was quick, front desk explained room etc. room is quietest I've stayed in. Clean, not brand new but nothing shabby or even worn lodge is beautiful inside and out. Views are spectacular, on site lounge, restaurant and meeting rooms beautifully decorated. There are cabins and chalets on... More

We stayed in one of the chalets and the view was great. We had deer every night outside of our deck. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. We also seen a bale eagle while ridding out of the park.

We were on a motorcycle trip to Lynchburg Tennessee so we planned a stop here for one night. Wish we could have stayed several nights to enjoy the lodge and the area. Lobby is really nice, check in was smooth. This is a great place for a conference. Our room was large and faced the lake. it had a small... More

Northern rural Alabama. Beautiful scenery. Quiet, peaceful, serene. Nicely appointed. Rooms are adequate but the lodges are beautiful. Attentive staff going out of their way to try to please you. Worth staying a weekend. You'll love it.
