This RV park is about 1/2 mile off the beach - you can NOT see the beach, but you could walk or ride a bike. They were not full when we visited so it was quiet. The sites are level however, the water and electric hookups were too far forward on many of the pads which made it difficult for... More

Made reservation in the winter. Received comf with bal due info. After driving 7 hrs & arriving in April, was told the price had gone up. This RV campground would fare better if they would be up front with the price inc for spring rate. If you go expect to pay more than what is quoted you. Personally I don't... More

If they give you price, it may not be correct. They increased the Price and did not notiy us. It is noisy and the office closes so early their Is no one to help with anything? I have prickers imbedded in my indoor rug and crying grandchildren. This is Not a resort and definitely not a luxury resort. I have... More

Stayed here 3 nights because gulf state park was full for the first weekend we were in Gulf shores. We arrived after the office closed for the day. We were sure what to do at first then noticed they put a sign on the door with our site number. Hubby had to use the bathroom first thing and he needed... More

We stopped here on our way to Florida and Glad we did!! Only 5 minutes to the beach, and the sand is, as soft as, baby powder and the ocean breeze is wonderful!! All the locals are super friendly! We were here for only a week, and plan on coming back again someday!! It would be a great place for... More

Don't get hung up on the luxury name. Who cares. I could tell by the website that it wasn't going to be more than what it was. It's a perfectly located, quiet, clean park in a great location! We loved easily biking to the beach every day from here. Mary in the office was really great and helpful. I would... More

The park is nice and quite, but luxury is a bit of a stretch defining this place. The sites are level, and spaced well, there is good WiFi, and a pool (closed while we were there). It is very basic, sand between the sites and a patio with table, set way to the back of the site - not convenient... More

This RV park is close to the beach and convenient to everything, walking distance to restaurants and ice cream shop! A nice pool and very clean shower/restrooms with security code entrance. Concrete pads help keep sand outside. We hope to stay here again!

We just came home to MO from AL. & we really liked the convienience of this RV Park, wish we could have stayed longer. Cement areas to park so you aren't bringing sand into your trailer. The lady who checked us in was very informative. Beautiful trees all around both palm & pine. We travel around the country in the... More

We stayed just one night but enjoyed it. We did laugh about the name - I wouldn't define any rv park I've ever stayed at as luxurious. The office staff was friendly and helpful. We brought our bikes and easily rode to the public beach, pier and restaurants. The bath house was fairly typical except that there's a code to... More
