Our unit was spacious and well decorated. I have been in some units that are way too busy with stuff and older furnishings. We bring lots of stuff so don't need more stuff. What we really need is space and I thought this unit delivered. The beach, the sun, the sand, the waves are why I come to Gulf Shores.... More

Enjoyed our stay. Nice quiet location, great beach, and plenty of amenities. Would definitely return. Hoping to return next year. Knowing the layout I would probably get a condo a little closer to the boardwalk than #1112 just for the simple fact of packing chairs umbrellas and etc for ourselves and the kids.

We thoroughly enjoyed our unit while we were there. This was our first family vacation, and had no issues! Easy to walk down to the beach, or to the multiple pools right outside. We actually enjoyed that it was further out because it forced us to do what we came there to do, relax! Our only complaints would be that... More

The beach is great, the pool not bad. The room 2205 was old and out of date , small with old appliances and Cain furniture. The TV's were terrible no reception and only a few channels. The downside nothing to do you can only lay on the beach or by the pool for 4 or 5 hours a day, plus... More

My wife and I had a great time at the resort. The amenities were very enjoyable although we would have really enjoyed better rental equipment. The staff was very nice and we plan to return here in the future.

TL;DR - Rooms were decent and clean (unit 4507), though looked like the set of the Golden Girls. Maintenance/upkeep of property was another story. RIght on the beach, so that helps. We stayed in unit 4507 for a week. Overall, the room was fine. The accessories provided in the kitchen were lacking (we had 3 cookie sheets, lacked some pans... More

If you are planning a trip to Gulf Shores you do not want to stay at The Plantation which is managed by Mandoki Hospitality. We just returned home from what was to be a beautiful vacation. We booked a 3 bedroom condo, and upon arrival, had been given unit 6712. This was a very out-dated unit, in need of some... More

We are sorry you were unhappy with your accommodations during your recent stay. We did everything we could while you were here to correct the situation. You spoke with members of our top management who offered to send housekeeping to your property, relocate you to another condo and offered a discount on your stay. You declined all offers. After your... More

As advertised, great rates, friendly staff, we loved everything. We booked last minute and they were extremely nice and helpful. Our kids truly enjoyed the place, especially the pools and beach. The condo was very clean and well kept, with plenty of accessories to cook in if you don't want to eat out every night.

I forgot to share the great owner I rented my vacation condo from. Jackie Battles Island Dream Properties was awesome. Can't go wrong with her. Trying to think of something to add to get to 200 character minimum. Go in fall and you'll get good rates but still warm enough to sunburn.

We stayed in unit #3201, through Poole & Associates. Our unit was lovely, & spotlessly clean. It was also very well stocked with dishes, cookware, extra linens, towels, etc. The facilities here are very well maintained & the staff very helpful. We asked more than once about places to eat & attractions & not only did they know where to... More
