My husband worked in Gadsden for a week and we stayed here based on positive trip advisor reviews. It is a great property. There are many sites along the water available for $2 per night extra, full hookups and a person circles the sites several times a day and picks up any trash bag you wish to leave at the... More

We stay here as a stopping point going to the Smokies! Also use it as a stopping point to see my sister & her family. It's easy check-in, they escort you to your site. We like the fact that the property is gated and someone is on site. They have been doing upgrades and things look nice. Staff very helpful... More

We stopped for 1 night and wished we could have stayed longer. It had everything we were looking for. Easy to get to, quick check-in, helpful staff, level lot and more. Some of the sites are close together, but they try to keep everyone spaced out as much as possible. There was plenty of room while we were there. They... More

I have stopped here twice in the last five years on the way down to Destin. Nice people, quiet and quaint campground with long pull thrus got those who don't want to unhook. Property is decent but needs a little love and attention. Most of the water sites seem pretty tight. Quite a few seasonal campers. Not a place to... More

We have stayed here several times over the last several years. Even though it's 1 hour away from my family, we will not try another campground. It is well kept and we just got home. They were painting and upgrading lots of areas!! The owner and his staff are so nice & friendly. We appreciate the "gated" campground. We will... More

we arrived yesterday, greeted by the owner and ushered to our waterfront site. very, very nice setting. its near a major road but in our rv, noise wasn't an issue. this is a very classy place and I would definitely return. we camped in a 38 ft. rv.

We were traveling around the South for a short time, playing golf and enjoying ourselves when we came across this campground. Some of the nicest folks we've ever met are here. We have never seen such fantastic, sparkling showers/bathhouses as the ones at River Country. Beautiful spot, formerly a water park, tucked away along the Black Creek and Coosa River.... More
