My wife and I stayed in The Swan Room for a few nights for our honeymoon. It managed to feel homey and extravagant at the same time. The building is ancient, beautiful, and lovingly maintained. The bed was so comfy, we didn't want to go back home to ours. The continental breakfast was tasty, with a bit of everything. Nothing... More

This little hotel is run like a bed & breakfast, with only 10 rooms in the entire place. Lance was my main contact person, who has IMPECCABLE service and is incredibly attentive without being annoying. The building has an old plantation look to it, and is just beautiful, even without the Christmas decorations. The rooms were clean, always stocked with... More

My husband and I have stayed in B&B's all over the world and this is the most beautiful of them all. A major renovation has created a timeless beauty with chandeliers thru-out, incredible wood paneling, and the most lavish baths imaginable. Every room is exquisite in every detail. The moldings, silk drapes and spreads, and gorgeous furniture make this a... More

I can't say enough about my stay. The room was gorgeous from ceiling to floor. Breakfast was beyond my expectations. Everything about my stay made me feel like royalty. Many thanks to the staff for such a pleasant visit.

I couldn't say enough great things. This hotel is a true gem! So glad the place as reopened. The magnificent chandeliers are reason enough to stay at this gorgeous location but with a friendly helpful staff, the decadent history behind it, and the warm welcoming atmosphere, I couldn't stay anywhere else. Don't miss out on this beauty when you're in... More

Just stayed here - so glad it is open again. It is a very charming place and even though it is an "old" inn, it still has the feeling of a new place, we have stayed here dozens of times. The staff was so helpful and it was convenient to the beach. We will be regulars again.

This is a closed property and is on the market. I would have loved to have had a look inside this beautiful property, however, I don't think this is possible. I do hope that this historical property will be sold to someone, who will take care of this place.

We were looking for a romantic and unique place to stay the weekend and close to shopping area to do some Christmas shopping. Found this place searching for bed and breakfast in Foley, AL. Viewed their YouTube video and called. Spoke to Becca, who was so very nice and friendly on the phone. She made our reservation and also greeted... More

My husband and I stayed at The Magnolia Hotel in June, 2010 while on a weekend get-away. The Magnolia is a wonderful old hotel which has been renovated several times. It has beautiful chandeliers, elegantly decorated guest rooms, small pool, restaurant, beautiful wooden staircases, large paintings, and a lot of southern charm and history. There are different prices for different... More

My husband and I recently stayed here for a family event in the area. The hotel has been around since the late 1800s, early 1900s, but has been beautifully renovated. Located in downtown Foley, AL, across from the park, it's a short drive to the outlets or beyond that to Gulf Shores. The staff is very friendly and they make... More
