Booked the room the night before we checked in. Never got a confirmation email. It's gated so we couldn't get in until we waited for someone who had the code to let us in. Called the service number and the guy didn't even know how to give me directions or an address to find the place much less the code... More

Beautiful ocean view! The beach was closer than I expected. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our condo was nicely furnished and clean. Be mindful, most places are closed on Monday and Tuesday. Directions were perfect and suggestion to stop at Walmart before we reached the condo was spot on. The gas rigs were way out in the gulf and... More

VERY MISLEADING. Home away and VRBO site states one price, when you call to book a unit they quote you three times the amount advertised and claim they did not know the price was wrong online. They are very misleading. I emailed 4 or more times over the course of a week and couldn't get a response. The book it... More

All rooms at the Inn are oceanfront, glorious view of sunrise and sunset. The warm and friendly staff at The Inn know what they are doing. Our 1 B.R. unit was fastidiously prepared, starter set of soaps etc.,Moving in for a month is never fun, but the large 4 wheel carts and nearby elevators made it simple. Washer/Dryer, 2 TV,... More

This week was so relaxing! First time my husband, daughter and I stayed on Dauphin Island! The staff at The Inn were so friendly and helpful! Our room was spotless and decorated nicely! The island doesn't have any chain resturants, just locally owned "mom and pop" places, which offer fresh seafood, burgers, fries and BBQ! We enjoyed the warm water... More

The view is great, if you don't mind looking at Natural Gas Rigs as they are lined up. I enjoyed our patio and a lot of dolphin watching early in the mornings, but despised my condo. All condo's have a gulf view, which is great. Our condo was very dirty and when I complained they did not offer to do... More

In the middle of the island, it is convenient and close to everything you might need except a Walmart. The oil rigs were in the Gulf, so they are part of the landscape. A NICE PLACE TO RELAX AND TAKE A STEP BACKWARDS INTO A SLOWER EASIER PLACE WITH SUGARY WHITE SANDS..

Location: the condo is in the middle of the island- mind you the island is maybe 15 miles long so its not really a drive either way you're going. There's a beach behind the hotel with good space to layout but bring your own chair/umbrella or reserve one from the rental company the day before. There's a pizza joint directly... More

My Wife and I stayed a week to unwind and that was accomplished. The staff was more than helpful and always a pleasure to talk to. I think this is the ideal place for relaxing. The oil rigs are out in the gulf but I wasn’t there to worry about the oil rigs. When we wanted to have some excitement... More

Quiet? Yes. Relaxing? Yes. Lovely white sand?True. But the oil derricks out in the ocean were a surprise to us and, quite frankly, a bit of an eyesore. The best restaurant on the island is The Oar House. Great food. Great service. Mary's Bakery is a must. Ship and Shore Package store/Souvenir store/ You name it store is a hoot.... More
