We picked this hotel to be near auburn and to check out the lake. We rented kayaks from the hotel and kayaked for about an hour and also went to an auburn baseball game. The hotel is well maintained, clean, and relaxing. Hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. Great location near auburn and affordable. We will definitely be back!

I am not one to usually complain, but when someone messes with your special day it makes things a little different. Just for a little history 3 years ago we stayed at this exact same lodge with the exact same owner and there were really no issues, we stayed in the lobby until around midnight talking and hanging out because... This was the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel! That owner Richard was rude and super disrespectful. I would recommend you NEVER come here!!! You can't so much as walk in the up stairs hallway without being told you are too loud, God forbid you actually talk inside! This place was not relaxing, but was stressful and we... More

All I can say is, "Wow!" Ladies, if you want your special day ruined, reserve this place as a wedding venue. I witnessed the bride crying her eyes out after the reception. One of the co-owners (who I will not name as a much undeserving courtesy) was the most unprofessional business owner I've ever encountered. A small group of us... More

In March of 2012 we rented all the rooms but one at Creekside for my sons wedding! It was an amazing experience!! How times have changed. This weekend we did the same thing for my daughters wedding! We have 14 rooms rented. The owner is one notch shy of being a nazi prison guard! As we were checking, the family... More

This place is a hidden gem. We had the entire lodge to ourselves. The owner was very friendly. Fireplace is the highlight of the place. The best part of the room - IT WAS HUGE and the decor was sexy. It was very quiet and cozy place to stay. Would go back in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.

We went there on a church marriage retreat. The lodge is cozy with nice common area with fireplaces and much seating. The rooms were large and comfortable, nice king size beds.It was very clean and the staff was nice and friendly. I would go back again.

It would have been a perfect setting for a relaxing weekend but it didn't end up that way. Didn't get much sleep during the night because the air conditioning was too loud (it woke me up every time it cycled), and the next morning, I could hear the guests who were checking out early in the lobby. You could hear... More

I made a room booking at the creekside lodge based upon the prices available online , apparently these are not accurate and if you have more than two people staying in a double queen room it costs more . Whatever you do don't query the price , I made this mistake and had the manager / owner Mary call me... More
