It´s still a great place to stay in Recife. A new building was built for the World Cup and giving more luxury to the hotel as a whole. Breakfast is great, with a large variety of typical dishes. Parking lot is paid, which is a minus. But the hotel´s biggest problem is the check-in check-out...Gee, it takes forever. And if... More

Well located familiar hotel. Best is cleaning, personal availability and silence...on the higher tower rooms. Breakfast is Very Good yet replacement of faulty goods is slow. Least is..wireless.. inaccessible during peak hours, discrepancy between older and new high tower rooms.

Been there for a weekend with my family. The hotel is very well located, rooms are big and all furniture is new. Excellent breakfast with fresh "tapioca" everyday. I just wish there's more entertainment for kids... There's no playground or any acrivities. I'd definetely come back, tough.

I stayed in six different accommodations during my trip to Brazil and Mar Hotel Recife was the one I liked most. The building is very modern, in particular the new wing where I was given a room. The room was impeccably clean, of very elegant minimal style, the bed could not be more comfortable, the view was very nice and... More

Nice and friendly people at desk, willing to help. Located not far from seaside is an hotel that is worth the money you spend. The breakfast has a wide choice of fresh fruit beside the standard cheese and ham.

Spent just one day for a business meeting. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was varied and there is a nice pool for those interested. The hotel is a little bit far from the beach but very close to the airport. Would definitely stay again in business trip to Recife.

The best parts about this hotel were the swimming pool and the concierge. The pool area was well-kept and the concierge never failed to give an excellent recommendation for dinner. The area seemed safe enough, although we were warned not to walk down certain streets nearby. We did walk to dinner all 3 nights, however. Tower 2 seemed a bit... More

Set a couple of blocks seemingly safe walk (did it a few times night and day time) back from the seafront, this is a well run and pleasant place to stay. A short walk to restaurants in the area. Rooms in the tower are more recently fitted out, and very smart with some (distant) sea views. Nice outdoor swimming pool

Stayed for only one night but overall everything went smoothly. They have a nice pool and a honest gym. The room is very comfy as well. All the staff is friendly and willing to help at any time. The restaurant is a little over priced but the quality of the food is good. Anyway, I recommend it !

We stayed a couple of nights at this hotel on our way back from Fernando de Noronha. We were given a room at Tower 2 which is a brand new structure built especially to host guests of the WC2014. From the second we arrived at the hotel, the concierge and the hotel staff were available and offered us all of... More
