The hotel is very old and claims for an urgent renovation. There is not a hot water system in place, the shower is one electric model, the cheapest you can find, but works. The faucets that usually are the hot water ones, have one stamp over, asking not to use. The air conditioner is noisy. There is not a hair... More

We stayed here for the first couple days of our trip....it was chosen for us by another party. Other than the breakfast and location, there wasn't much else noteworthy. Quite possibly the worst hotel you could imagine. In its defence, the staff are friendly and helpful, the wifi works and the breakfast is good, but that is where the positives end. This was one of the FIFA-endorsed accommodation for the World Cup so I definitely expected better. Most staff could not speak decent English, so I initially struggled with trying to understand the directions to the stadium the receptionist provided. Perhaps this was a good hotel when it opened but after 30 years (I'm guessing) it's surely time to upgrade facilities. The air conditioner was useless (blew out hot air) but made enough noise to turn the room into a factory floor. We had to open the window instead so ended up getting eaten alive by mosquitos and other bugs.... More

this is a well positioned hotel on the beach and easy to get in and out of despite the traffic. The internet was pretty good best in the lobby. the breakfast and food was not so great but gave you enough choice to get something. I would go for a higher floor if you can. The AC works well,

The location of this hotel is very good at the beach. The walkways are opposite to the hotel, and beach can be easily accessed. Rooms are a bit outdated but everything works well. While the rooms in this hotel are far from luxurious they are certainly adequate and more than compensated for by the good location, great views of the ocean, excellent breakfast and, above all, friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Stayed for a couple of nights, hotel is average by Good European standards rooms are ok but the hole place is very dated. The view from the room of Boa Viagem is great and the pool staff and breakfast are all good.
