The grounds of this hotel are stunning. The centrepiece is a decent sized pool surrounded by lush gardens. The rooms are old but nicely looked after. Besides the odd mosquito (an unavoidable byproduct of all that greenery), this hotel is an oasis of tranquility. But maybe too tranquil. I rarely saw any staff besides the guy at the front desk,... Good ambience, good service, beautiful gardens, comfortable and tidy rooms, nice swimming pool, kind and helpful personnel. Breakfast needs some improvements, more variety. Strongly recommend. I'll be back!

The park like setting of this hotel is rather remarkable. It is indeed rare to find a place to stay where you feel completely at ease, surrounded by a virtual jungle in the midst of another busy colonial Brazilian town. Cicadas serenade you, birds are everywhere and capuchin monkeys might join you for breakfast. Staff will post signs warning of... More

A beautifully designed hotel with spacious, air conditioned bedroom, lovely art work and ceramic statues, set in a wonderful tropical garden with super swimming pool. excellent breakfast. however, do not recommend dining there unless you are really tired as we were on our first night. the food is bland to put it mildly! I also wanted to give a great... More

We stayed a 7 Colinas last week for six days. The single room was simple, but clean and sufficient. Our view of the pool and the palm trees was gorgeous. The included buffet breakfast was outstanding. Everyday there's two choices of cake baked by the chefs the night before. There's all kinds of other sweets, along with fresh fruit assortments,... We arrived by taxi from the airport during Friday rush hour. What tranquility after the madness! This hotel has many large orange clay statues throughout its grounds. The statues have such beautifully smooth forms, it elevates the whole experience. The rooms are big and clean with small balconies on which you can sit and watch the Plain-bellied Emeralds in the... We stayed at the Seite Colinas during the World Cup and enjoyed our stay. We were there during the Festa Junina so there were bonfires, fireworks and dancing all around us, which was a lot of fun, but the hotel was also pretty quiet considering all that was going on around us. The hotel is in its own walled enclosure... More

I stayed here for two days during the World Cup and I really wish I could have stayed longer. Olinda is magnificent, I was there for 12 days in total, and Los 7 Colinas is a little oasis of leafy tranquility right in the heart of the magnificent Old Town. It has lovely big rooms, so quiet and peaceful, each... More

Excellent hotel with the feel of a secluded compound right in the heart of the City of Olinda, near the oceanfront and near the historic, colonial-era core. Rooms are clean and simple, but the hotel grounds are large, walled off for security, and decorated with eclectic statuary. A nice variety of foods are served at breakfast, and there is an... More
