I stayed here for two days during the World Cup and I really wish I could have stayed longer. Olinda is magnificent, I was there for 12 days in total, and Los 7 Colinas is a little oasis of leafy tranquility right in the heart of the magnificent Old Town. It has lovely big rooms, so quiet and peaceful, each... More

Excellent hotel with the feel of a secluded compound right in the heart of the City of Olinda, near the oceanfront and near the historic, colonial-era core. Rooms are clean and simple, but the hotel grounds are large, walled off for security, and decorated with eclectic statuary. A nice variety of foods are served at breakfast, and there is an... More

My husband had a business trip to Recife and I was coming along. I had never been to Brazil and don't speak Portuguese, so I wanted to ensure a place where I felt comfortable enough to walk around on my own, or if all else fails, I would happy at the hotel while my husband was working. We found both!... More

We stayed here at the end of a four week trip round the region. Undoubtedly the best hotel we stayed in. Set in beautiful grounds with pools, sculpture, tables, terraces and gym area, the rooms are small but all quiet, clean, comfortable with comfy firm beds and a good shower, TV and wifi inclusive all through rooms, common areas and... My wife and I stayed here for four nights the week before Christmas. We found the grounds, staff, amenities, room and food all exemplary. The hotel was a short walk (although not necessarily easy walk because of the hills and heat) to all of the old city's highlights. And the sounds of the troupes practicing for Carnival floated through the... More

As others have mentioned the gardens at the hotel are gorgeous. The pros of the hotel is its proximity to everything. The hotel is within walking distance of everything from restaurants to bus stops. Breakfast is included in the cost of the bill, so that's another benefit. The restaurant at the hotel is open Late which is also a pro.... More

Everything about 7 Colinas was as I had anticipated when booking, with the exception of the rather aloof reception staff. Our room was cool and comfortable with a hammock on the little balcony, comfortable beds, working TV, all clean and safe. The bathroom was a little odd, having a deep skylight above for illumination, leading to a slightly damp atmosphere,... More

The 7 Colinas Hotel is a nice place surounded by beautiful gardens and sculptures. The building and accomodations have a rustic style, the rooms are spatious and there are balconies facing the gardens. Although the hotel is nice, don´t expect too much in general. The maintenance is laking, breakfast could be better, and the front desk staff although efficient could... More

The 7 Colinas Hotel is very well located just a few steps from the St. Francisco Church and the center of Olinda city, a stunning colonial town. It is a good hotel to stay for a night or two. The best thing about this hotel is its beautiful garden and a nice and big pool that stays open until late,... More

We found Olinda entrancing, multi-coloured buildings, views and curved streets; quality craftwork, safer than Recife, and don't miss the fascinating Museu do Mamulengo - devoted to unique local puppet history. Hotel was peaceful, room quite compact, but ok, garden and all the artworks delightful. There is a pool - one half was green and uninviting (way too warm); the other... More
