This is a quiet place to stay on the top floor of an office block. It has a lovely small terrace and decent rooms. The food in the restaurant is very basic though. However, there are plenty options on the street. Try the Sikkim House in the next block. Ideal place for budget travelers.

Excellent location, Vegetarian hotel but expensive for is services. Located right in the most posh location of Kolkotta. Excellent area for shopping & restaurants. The Hotel was so clean & hygienic, service too was lousy. Reception manager was co-operative. We were two mens hence requested for a TWIN room, which was not available that day, we had to add an EXTRA... More

We stayed at hotel Rushbah home in the deluxe cottages on the roof. The hotel location is central within a short walk to Maidan Metro station. It is 10 minutes to Park Street and Victoria Memorial. We were grateful to Lalit for providing us with our room on our morning arrival. The room was the cheapest option. Kolkata accommodation is... More

The 'deluxe cottage' is a rooftop room set around a courtyard like area, with views of the park and rooftops. The place is easily found by taxi, on middleton street but you may have to walk a bit to get there once the taxi drops you off at the corner. People will direct you. The food was delicious (all room... More

The hotel is in a very good central location on Middleton Road. You can walk to a metro station. Also there is a cafe with wifi around the block at Cafe The (wifi is VERY difficult to find in Kolkata). The room and bathroom was clean. The A/C worked well. I went with a co-worker and he and I had... More

The hotel is located on the top floor of a building with many offices, so at night it is very quiet and the view offered is very beautiful. The Metro is five minutes away and nearby there are shops and restaurants. The 24-hour reception is very helpful. The room is modern and very clean, with LCD TV, air conditioning, sitting... More

If you skip their room service, there is no better value for money place in Kolkatta! Based on an earlier review, we asked for room 908 (?) but were given room 909. Both are great rooms, spacious, and very well maintained. The location allows for you to easily access the metro (a short 5 minute walk) as well as one... More

My husband and I traveled to Kolkata for a trip of a lifetime to attend a cousin's wedding. We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the reception site and because of its price as a 3-star hotel (US$45/night). This is a basic hotel where budget Indian travelers stay. We found it had everything except a place to eat,... More

The reception is on the 5th floor and rooms on 5th and 8th and 9th floor which is weird and the rest of the building is office space. The rooms are tiny but clean but not too sure about linen and towels etc - looked dirty to me. Room service food is bad not even tea or coffee is good.... More
