I and my husband are truly grateful to Momo, Bony and Rupak who made our arrival to India an unforgettable experience. Throughout our week in Kolkatta we were given so much help, priceless advice and generosity that is difficult to describe. This is the place where we felt at home, a rare experience for long term travellers really. We gained... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed with Rupak and Crazy Wonders and they were the absolute best. India is never an easy experience but they made it a 5 star experience. We were picked up at the airport when we arrived at no cost. We stayed with Momo and Arindam as a home stay who work for Crazy Wanderers and they... More

This was my first stop in India and I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous. From the moment my boyfriend and I met Rupak, we immediately felt welcome and like part of the family. As soon as you meet Rupak and his family (other people that he lives with) you can tell that they are beautiful souls.... More

My girlfriend and I, despite both having extensive travel experience, were nervous about our arrival in Kolkata. We contacted Rupak due to a recommendation from a friend and are both incredibly happy we did. I dont know if we would feel the same about India right now had we not met Rupak. We immediately felt welcome in his home. He... More

I booked a room here in advance and was eagerly anticipating this experience having read all of the Trip Advisor reviews. I learned upon my arrival in Kolkata that a fire had damaged the property. I would have to find a room elsewhere. I was informed that alternate arrangements could be made at a local Buddhist guest house. I contacted... More

After months of guest houses and hotels we were unsure if a homestay would be for us but we are so glad we chose Crazy Wanderers. They have just moved into a brand new building with a swimming pool and great rooftop views (and less mosquitoes). Rupak will welcome you with open arms and there will always be one of... More

A wonderful place to stay to get to know Calcutta like a local! Rupak is great; like an encyclopaedia of India and Calcutta especially. We arrived at the airport at 2:00am and he came and met us from the airport so that we didn't get ripped off in a taxi. Quite a relief for our first time in India! By... More
