We didn't actually stay at the hotel but at a horrible cheap dive around the corner, but we came here for dinner, breakfast the next morning and to use the free wifi. Prices were higher than local food places but not unreasonably high. Food was tasty and big portions. Great service, fast wifi. Breakfast was a big buffet upstairs with... More

We stayed for 4 nights. Good location, cozy environment, clean rooms and bath room. Good Wifi.Complimentary breakfast can be more improved. Only annoying thing was noise of doors and calling bell of next rooms. Some time you might get confused about the calling bell, you might think that some one is at your door. But it was rang at next... More

Dear, travelers. I have a really bad experience with this hotel.I booked this hotel via booking.com for 2 nights stay. On the day I arrived( March 25th) I showed up to find out that there are no rooms for my group. The staff said irresponsibly that I have not response their confirmation e-mail. The point is I already put all my... More

We stayed here for three days and found the hotel to be convenient. It is located at Sudder Street which has several budget hotels. It is very close to important places, like Park Street and Indian museum. Even though the room was small, it was comfortable. The room service was taking a lot of time. The breakfast buffet was decent.... More

Perfectly decent hotel. Clean, good wifi, hot water, AC works. Buffet breakfast has some Indian staples plus western standards - toast, eggs, cereal, fruit and baked beans. The whole boutique thing may be impractical. Cutesy bedroom furniture means there is virtually no closet space. Untrained ( but pleasant) Indian hotel staff means no one thinks to walk a few meters... More

I was fortunate to have a corner room facing out on to the street on the 3rd floor (I'd requested this). I was staying in Kolkata for a week attending a workshop. The room was spacious, a little tired with the decor, but comfortable enough. I had issues with very noisy neighbours in the room next door, whom management kindly... More

Stayed here on my first two business trips to kolkatta, stay was average and price was high compared to other near by options which are better on some parameter.. Stay here if you absolutely have to be inside the old city... Our else link for options near salt lake or towards tantra both of which have better options at same... More

We stayed there as group - I think this was a nice hotel, clean, reasonably quiet (I was on 2nd floor) breakfast could be a bit more varied and - as other reviewers have commented - I would avoid the bar/or only go there and check the bill with eagle eyes... overall I think i can recommend this hotel.

Great hotel, nice clean quality rooms, good breakfast, friendly helpful staff. A nice break from the rough and tumble and noise on the crowded streets. situated on a famous tourist street c lose to the city centre but a superb refuge from the noise with its own courtyard plus an outside breakfast area.

I booked this hotel in hopes that it would provide the comfort and amenities that I so desperately needed during my breakneck tour of North India. I was living out of a backpack and Calcutta was the last leg of my two week trip. I was craving hot showers and relaxing television - both of which had been advertised! Needless... More
