Its hard to put into words the amazing place Glenburn is.. from the beautiful scenery dominated by the Kangchendzonga, to the unbelievingly tasteful rooms and decor, the wonderful food and the delightful teas, Glenburn is simply incomparable to any other place I have ever visited. Another great thing about visiting Glenburn are the several activities that one can do -... More

A working tea estate in what feels like the middle of nowhere...it is the perfect escape! Upon arrival at the estate you are welcomed by a superior staff who took care of all of our needs for the next four days. There are three buildings that make up the accommodations. The original house is surrounded by gardens with butterflies and... More

We had the opportunity to stay in this beautiful estate. IWhat a lovely experience. Everyone was so helpful and kind. The evening meals with the other guests was a true pleasure. . . And the teas! What flavors! If you want a first class stay, this is the place to go. We were a bit disappointed, however, that with such... More

My Glenburn experience is such a highlight amongst many travel experiences. From the onset, being collected at Gangtok airport and ushered back to the 4 wheel drive and greeted with a cool homemade lemonade, to the amazing, stimulating conversations around the Glenburn dining table and the magestic Kangchendzonga gracing us with it's presence !A truly magical experience! The beds are... More

This review is a couple of years late but I still remember the exception service and hospitality at Glenburn. Most suited for those who are bored of the usual luxury hotels (read Taj etc) and are looking for the next level. Do not stay for less than 3 days.

Where do I begin?? My husband and I had two glorious nights at Glenburn (we only wish it had been more). To start with the trip to Glenburn from Bagdogra is what it is and is part of the experience, but my goodness when you finally arrive how amazing...... Jenni is there to greet you with warmth and with such... More

My husband and I stayed here for 4 days in Febraury 2014. We needed to get away from the city and wanted a relaxing holiday and that's exactly what Glenburn offered. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The staff are so kind and courteous. And the food!!!! is just amazing. Every meal we had there was different from the... More

Why do people comment so much on the "difficult" car journey to Glenburn? While the drive from Bagdogra airport to the Tea Estate can be a bit chaotic at times it is rather typical for India and by no means "scary". It also offers spectacular scenery. Glenburn itself is very peaceful and very beautiful. Simply wonderful to go for walks,... More

Thank you so much for your review, as the previous ones about Jenni and the road conditions have been a bit tough to respond to. I know how amazing Jenni has been for Glenburn these past 2 seasons and we will miss her dearly when she returns to her "normal" life after June. I hope people dig deeper to read... More
