Our adventure was with our two best friends & our four children. Be prepared for a bumpy ride to get to Glenburn but once you make it, it's like your very own piece of Eden! The bedrooms are exquisitely decorated with beautiful Indian material & very comfortable all with electric blankets & glorious white cotton sheets. We stayed in the... More

We stayed at the end of a 3-week trip around India. What a stunning location high in the hills and quite unlike everywhere else we visited - so quiet, peaceful and unspoilt. We enjoyed the tea and the variety of foods we were served up. We loved relaxing and being pampered. Our room was larger than many London apartments and... More

Having read the reviews, we were not looking forward to the road transfer from the airport up to Glenburn but it really wasn't too bad at all and definitely worth it. We were warmly greeted by Will & Faye and they continued to look after us very well during our 4 night stay. We enjoyed the communal meals and we... More

I travellec with a small group of people to Glenburn in October 2015. The location is magical. Yes, it's worth the bumpy ride getting there. Rooms are exquisite. Morning tea in the room was heavenly! All the meals were very good, the Bengali dinner was exceptional. Meals were served at different beautiful locations around the estate, one dinner was under... More

There is a lot to be loved about Glenburn. The views, the quaint rooms and furnishing and of course the very likeable staff. It is a place of relaxation and tranquility and I would assume this is a big reason why people include it in their itinerary. It is a shame that large groups are accepted here as by their... More

A boutique property in the midst of the tea estate with captivating views of Mt Kanchenjunga. The 19th century built cottages are luxurious and remind of the English countryside. One can spend the entire day relaxing and sun bathing in the beautiful lawn gazing at the variety of flora and the majestic mountain ranges. They offer various hikes exploring the... More

We were 4 families that stayed in Glenburn Tea Estate for 4 days from 26 th Dec to 30th Dec 2015. It was a SUPERB holiday. The property is awesome... Both the colonial bungalows are tastefully furnished.....we were blessed with clear skies on all the days and thus we were awed by the magnificent views of the Himalayas, of course... More

The Glenburn tea estate is in the most beautiful place on earth. On the first day we arrived to a warm welcome and I sat in our room looking over the tea gardens with the Himalayas rising majestically up in to the sky beyond I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Will and Faye were the perfect hosts... More

A very special place.. It's very pretty.. You feel spoilt and at home! Some very unique touches - hosts to take care of you, all guests sitting at dinner together, rooms don't have keys and even laundry is just done for free! To give you an e ample of how comfortable we are.. One night we did not get the... More
