The best thing about this hotel is the family atmosphere and the cozy living room :) The rooms where very clean and bright. And the family will help you in whatever you need. We would have stayed longer than one night there, but we needed Wifi to work, and there's only wifi available in the living room. Other than that,... More

Stayed here for 5 nights in May 2014. The first hike all the way up with a heavy backpack took it out of me, but was very happy to be greeted at the top with a spacious, clean room on the corner of the building, a couch to spread luggage out and sunlight streaming through the windows. 600R per night... It is a long walk to the top of the hill but it is worth it for these reasonably priced baby blue rooms. There is a kitchen available where you can make a hot drink, a tv lounge and good internet....all for £6 a night...: )

Kind of the perfect backpacker spot. Very good rate (600 INR/night for a double staying multiple nights.) We were lucky enough to stay in a northeast-facing corner room, so we could see the sunrise every morning. The beds are not too soft, but we layered a few thick blankets beneath us and slept very, very well. Zakir Hussian Rd is... More

Stayed here the last week of february. The hotel has some great sunny rooms in the front and a nice common area which is also used by the family. At this time of the year it was still pretty cold during the nights. Thats why every guest in the hotel got a hot water bottle to put under the blanket.... More

We stayed here for seven nights during the cold part of the year. Thanks to the warm water bottle we were given every evening we had no problems staying warm during the night. My boyfriend were ill for a couple of days during our stay and the hotel staff were wonderful to us, cooked him rise and gave him tea.... More

We went to the hotel from the recommendation of lonely planet( who writes this stuff?). We got a room for 600 rupees which was good at short notice. The room was clean and comfy, although quite damp smelling. As soon as the night came -- Wow it got COLD. I mean breath could be seen, we had to wear hats... More

Kind happy staff and family very friendly and helpful. The young lad is fab!! The owner also helped us get a fair price on train tickets. Wifi is free in the lobby. It is freezing cold, but it's Darjeeling and this is a fair budget hotel. The lovely girls bring you hot water bottles every night and let us get... More

This is one of the best places we have stayed in India. Honestly. The owner is super friendly and helpful, as are all of the staff. The rooms are cheap at 600INR per night and you get an awesome view of the mountains, plus 24 hour hot water in the en-suite bathroom and a TV with loads of good channels... More
