It's a very old hotel with spacious rooms. Breakfast and food is very good. Rooms are clean and have a good parking space. Very good marriage hall. Pls avoid giving tips to the staffs over there. They come and flock together and some of them would end up asking everyone. I understand people giving tips to the one who helped... More

This place has been around for a long time and the restaurant staff are amazing.... their service and observation is awesome... several big name brand restaurants can certainly learn a thing or two. Excellent pricing ! Great vegetarian food, awesome sambhar and the variety of chutney.... anyone visiting Chennai must visit .

This is probably the worst hotel I have ever checked into in my life. I was going to Chennai with my husband on a business trip and a friend of mine recommended this place. The reception is nasty and is manned by a senior citizen. The rooms are even more dirty. The door mat is stained. The beds are nasty... More

One of the good hotels in Chennai suitable for budget travelers. Very near Chennai Egmore station, museum and eye hospital. Shopping areas not far away. Large open area. Good vegetarian food available

This hotel is having a nice vegetarian restaurant, ample parking area and the location is good. Apart from these there is nothing which will satisfy you. Spacious but very old and stinking rooms, poor linen with stains and unclean blankets, lousy bathroom with clogged shower, towels which is worse than floor mat and staff (room service and room boys) they... Nestled between Egmore Railway Station and the Museum, and close to Central Station, Ashoka in Egmore, Chennai is a very comfortable, if somewhat Spartan accommodation to suit the budget of middle class and lower income group, yet classic enough to attract the rich. The restaurant Abhinanda serves very authentic South Indian meals and 'tiffen' - a local euphimesim for snacks.... More

Being in Chennai but staying in a hotel was new to me but it was a homely experience for me and my daughter. Large property and spaced out rooms across blocks provided good air circulation. The round design of blocks is something new and very good! However bath rooms were not very neat and the entire buildings could have a... More
