I go there to have coffee and snacks --Some of our meetings among three of us gets done here. The restaurant is almost empty--You get good Tea and hot Snacks like Bajji of various types --A bit of extra oil is used Very hospitable, allow us to take our own time, calm place for involved discussions

May be some 'happiness' is associated with nostalgia. Cuckoo chirping wakes you up first thing in the morning - it kind of set the mood right. Their breakfast (included in room charges) is very good - steamed veggies, bread and cereal (for children) and whole vada, idalee, upama combo for grown ups. We asked for a room with tiles (without... More

Overall experience was good. An area where they can improve forthwith is the response time for executing room service requests and customer requests for clean towels replacement etc. I am sure the above anamoly can be attended to forthwith

I booked this hotel for a night's stay, on our way to Andamans from Bangalore. Reviews were helpful plus couple of friends too recommended (they got confused I believe). Hotel also offered some discount. It was perhaps a good hotel some 10 years back and as our taste evolved on minimum expectations, the hotel failed to live up. I would... More

Got a very good deal on this hotel from yatra. Hotel is well built and mainitained but the location is not very good. It is located right next to a very famous temple and in the middle of market. Rooms are good with lcd tv, mini bar/fridage, toileterios etc. But the room size is very small. Room service is pathetic... More

It literally lives up to its name - Provides a Shelter, maybe from rain My booking with the hotel is the only thing which went smoothly. Clearly, they are wide open given their poor quality. The hotel infrastructure itself is not bad. But it is in a crowded part of Chennai, one way street and next to a noisy temple.... More

This is easily one of the crappiest hotels i've stayed in. Staff can't speak english for nuts...nor were they nice to us in anyway. The hotel overcharged us and gave us a pathetic room which stank of god-knows-what! When we reached there late night, they served us cold dinner even after repeatedly reminding them that we ordered food. And don't... More

This is easily the worse place i'm stayed in. The folks at the reception were ill-mannered. I had gone to Chennai as there was a death in the family. I had booked 8 rooms, initially 2 rooms. When I checked in , I informed the staff that people will be coming in throughout the day and that my husband would... More
