The Rain Tree offers a great reception room with very friendly people on the front desk. On the left side there is a bar used to serve Western. The rooms are spacefull and very clean and hygienic. The breakfast is the best I got for now in India ( staying already 5 years here now) . Rain Tree offers 3... more

My hotel was booked through my husband's company so I had no idea where we were heading fr our stay in Chennai. As we had left Grand Hyatt, Mumbai only three hours back, I really wished that my Chennai hotel was at least some what close to what I had left behind. and The Rain Tree Hotel was perfect!!!!! I have stayed in Rain Tree several times during the past months and every time I have been very happy with the hotel. It is small enough to feel warm without the staff being pushy or too much interested in you or your plans. Service is very good and the rooms modern and quiet. Breakfast is very western and I... more

However we could not check in when we arrived after a long flight as it was 'before' check in time. Therefore we... more

After staying in this hotel for five nights for a business trip recently, I left with a good overall impression, and would definitely consider using the hotel again for future trips to Chennai. Rooms (and bathrooms) are clean and well maintained. The minibar is not extensive, but does contain soft drinks along with domestic Kingfisher... more

The pub at the enterance has a huge glass fish tank over looking th reception. The resturant waiters are attentive. The roof top resturant is like nothing else. cool settings... more

This hotel is very pleasing to the eye. THis is a very decent hotel suitable for private visits , as well as for biz meets. Plenty of plants wherever we could see, and it is a very refreshing change after a grueling work day.A very ecofriendly hotel , with natural products being made use of wherever possible (soaps etc). Rooftop... more
