I enjoyed a wonderful 2 night stay at Savista with a group of girlfriends during our tour of Rajastan. It is a lovely, calm, rural oasis away from the chaos and traffic of Jaipur - perfect place to recharge and enjoy a little peace. The owners are simply charming and couldn't have been more helpful and obliging. The pool and... More

Savista was a great experience. I was looking to get out of Mumbai, where I live, for a long weekend and go somewhere peaceful and relaxing. Savista certainly delivered on this. It is set in very pretty and quiet countryside (so long as the locals aren't celebrating a festival like when i was there, but even that was fun and... More

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to host you and for taking the time to post a frank review of your experience, including what the place is and what it isn't - so helpful for those exploring options and looking to read between the lines. For us, it was a great pleasure to have a young and culturally open... More

I stayed at the Savista a few years ago shortly after it opened (not in Nov 2013 as mentioned but tripadvisor wouldn't let me go back further!). It was great staying somewhere peaceful outside of Jaipur (which also lets you have a glimpse of non-urban Rajasthan) and the garden and pool were lovely (as was our room). The owners were... More

Less than one per cent of Savista's happy guests make it a point to post a review! In contrast, the handful of guests whose expectations were at variance with what Savista has to offer have been scathing in their disapproval of Savista! Undoubtedly, no place is perfect, and there is room for improvement at Savista as well. That you should... More

What a find! After the hustle and bustle of Jaipur it was such a welcome relief to arrive at the peaceful surroundings of Savista, made even quieter by the lack of other guests - we were the only ones there at the time. I had many (but not enough) interesting conversations with our charming and worldly host, Bhanwar. The building... More

It was a pleasure to have you and your friends with us and to facilitate your block printing workshop. The two day experience that we offer, while delightful, is just an appetiser, and there is a great deal more to explore. We would be happy to have you back with us for a more intensive printing experience. More

We stayed at Savista for over a week and absolutely loved it. It is such a peaceful, relaxing place surrounded by beautiful grounds. There are numerous common rooms where guests can relax, read, watch films etc. or it is also lovely to sit around the pool. The food was fresh, healthy and delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed sampling different Indian... More

The fact that you chose Savista for your husband's writing retreat made you very special for us, as providing a haven for creative persons to do their work is one of Savista's long term visions. Your food philosophy was also appealing as it gave us an opportunity to demonstrate how easy it is to be a vegan in India! Look... More

In the jungle of Jaipur hotels on the internet, we were lucky to spot Savista Retreat. Both for my wife and I, this was our maiden trip to India and we planned our travel to start with Delhi, Jaipur and Agra. We landed in Delhi on the Friday night and came straight to Savista on the following day. I had... More

It is becoming a growing pleasure for us to introduce first time travellers to India to this intense, chaotic and paradoxical country! We are happy that you found in us a soft landing, and trust that the rest of your travels proved to be as memorable as you hoped they would. Few visitors to India can resist wanting to return... This hotel was a surprise for me and my friends. We were totally blown away once we were at the property which is over 200 years old. It is so beautifully maintained and tastefully done up. A small paradise in a quiet neighbourhood in Jaipur - India. The Savista Hotel is a charming boutique oasis with fabulous Indian heritage in... More

My companion and I spent three days and nights at Savista. The weather was perfect. We slept with the windows of our room open, there was no need for artificial climate control. It must have been the fresh night air wafting in, because we bounced out of bed and went for a long walk across the countryside on the first... More

Stayed here three nights during our recent trip to India in March 2014 as part of Golden Triangle trip. I would definitely recommend a trip to Savista, especially for the camel cart ride. And if you are going to Ajmer, I would definitely recommend staying at the Savista. A super relaxing resort, where the only thing causing a commotion will... More

I'm really glad that I finally managed to get the chance to write this feedback.. After travelled 7 hours from Agra to Jaipur by car, we finally arrived at Savista Retreat. We were greeted by a lovely couple (owners of the retreat), Bhawan and his wife Radika as our luggage were brought to our room by the staff. Hot drinks... More

Dear Eddie, we feel your pain. And it is also painful for us that after your amazing experience of staying at Savista which you describe, what you finally left with was a negative feeling due to our room service policy. Savista is about warmth, and community and fellow-feeling, more than about being simply a hotel, and it was not ignorance... More
