After going through the narrow lanes of the village, I was absolutely flattered when I entered the gates of this Fort. The pool and the beautifully landscaped garden was a visual delight. I was warmly welcomed by the staff and I knew I was going to have a great time. My room was clean, spacious, tastefully decorated and had a... More

Dive into it ! Fort Pachewar Garh is a real fort in a real village one hour drive away from the main road between Jaipur and Ajmer. Pachewar Garh is a fairytale location! You will feel like you are in a thousend and one night decor. In the evening dine by candlelight in the garden, delicious Indian food and a perfect host Mr. Abhimanyu. A nice swimming pool and landscaped garden gives you a wonderful holiday feeling. And not to forget the beautiful rooms! It's one of... More

Pachewar Garh is an old fort that has been lovingly restored, but not over-done. It has great character and the grounds are a great place to relax with a cold beer. We were welcomed by the Prince/owner who made us very welcome and told us to treat the place as our home. The staff were all friendly and helpful and... More

The hotel is situated 3 hours from Jaipur-it takes a long time due to the poor roads which are the size of the average bus. Unique scenery of shrubland on all sides, mini temples and little roadside cafes pass by. Be careful of the numerous turns, they have a potential for collisions. Beep your horn before each turn-disturbing, but it... More

Awesome place and amazing hospitality. We were there for 3nights and four days..had a brilliant time. This is small compact fort with all the required amenities and was a good break from television for sure. They have given us a personalized attention and the arrangement on New Year Eve was superb. Food is authentic rajasthani and just loved it.

A photographer friend recommended this small fort converted into a hotel. We stayed two nights. A very heavy monsoon season had ended just days before so the 25km drive from the highway was very slow and bumpy. The hotel has a good swimming pool, very pleasant courtyards and arranges for visits to the local village to see craftspeople at work.... More

This was the first of six forts and palaces at which we stayed in Rajasthan all of which had been partially converted into hotels in recent years. Pachewargarh was one of the first in this group to have been converted, in 1997 I think, and, in some respects this shows. For example the loo cistern in our room was a... More
