Pachewar Garh Hotel is unfussy, quiet, and has character. Each room is different. Traditional family pictures are hung all around the hotel. The open courtyard is just lovely--our dinners were served by candlelight here. The food was good quality Rajasthani food. We also took a village tour one afternoon. During the tour we saw normal village life, met numerous friendly... More

Pachewar Garh Hotel is as authentic as it gets. Its a small fort palace that belongs to the royal family of Pachewar - a small village, 23kms from main Jaipur-Ajmer highway and 105kms from Jaipur. The hotel takes you back in time. It is not modernized or renovated to resemble modern hotel palaces. The rooms are simple and clean. The... More

After going through the narrow lanes of the village, I was absolutely flattered when I entered the gates of this Fort. The pool and the beautifully landscaped garden was a visual delight. I was warmly welcomed by the staff and I knew I was going to have a great time. My room was clean, spacious, tastefully decorated and had a... More

Pachewar Garh is an old fort that has been lovingly restored, but not over-done. It has great character and the grounds are a great place to relax with a cold beer. We were welcomed by the Prince/owner who made us very welcome and told us to treat the place as our home. The staff were all friendly and helpful and... More

The hotel is situated 3 hours from Jaipur-it takes a long time due to the poor roads which are the size of the average bus. Unique scenery of shrubland on all sides, mini temples and little roadside cafes pass by. Be careful of the numerous turns, they have a potential for collisions. Beep your horn before each turn-disturbing, but it... More
