We stayed here during our three months in India and it still stands out as one of the best. The owner and his wife are absolutely delightful, sincere and care so greatly about their guests and their time in Jaipur. Home away from home.

Explorer’s Nest in Jaipur, Rajasthan, is a quaint, homely and charming little homestay tucked away in a quiet colony in the centre of town. The owners are Arvind Grover, a retired Lieutenant Colonel and his wife, Shoma, a thoughtful and interested woman who is a professor of Botany. The little guesthouse is remarkably cheap but certainly has everything that I... More

The Explorer's Nest is a great name for this place because that's what it is; a safe haven. A traveler couldn't ask for a better place to stay. The rooms are clean and well cared for. The shower is great with lots of hot water. The location is fantastic with being located close to the Pink City and quite quite... More

I arrived to Explorer's Nest after a long and tiring trip and it was a relief to enter this beautiful place. The entire house is decorated with love and taste. All the rooms are cosy, spacious and extremely clean. In spite of the fact that the house is located in the middle of the city,it's very quiet. But it's the... More

We stayed October last year. The rooms were lovely, we stayed in 2 as we stayed for longer than expected so had to move for a guest that had pre booked. The rooms were spacious, really clean and quirkily furnished. In fact the retro/vintage artefacts around the whole guesthouse were really cute and gave it a homely feel. My partner... More

Our stay at the Explorer's Nest was just perfect and very memorable. Arvind, the host of the Explorer's household was very responsive & friendly in e-mails for a couple of months prior to our arrival. Our dates weren't firm at all and yet he was very accommodating just the same. We hoped for the Explorer's Home, but it was full,... More

First of all we arranged pick up from the airport. The driver was there waiting for us with our name even though our flight was delayed. There is no better way to be welcomed to a place than having a pick up service and although they charge a little more than the taxi rate I'd reccomend a pick up. The... More
