Shahar Palace guesthouse was welcoming and relaxing throughout our stay. The Shahar family were always available and helpful with traveling info and worm around the clock service. We planned to stay for three night and ended up staying six... with a great atmosphere, clean and groomed ac room and sweet garden, we just couldn't leave! Great value for money, recommended!!

If you're looking for a place to stay that will offer you the amenities of the big chain hotels, but with a touch of home Shahar Palace is the place for you. The owners made sure that I was well taking after. That make you feel like your part of the family.

This hotel is terrible . A family maintains this hotel. The owner wears pajama and vests. Looks so unprofessional. They have a resultants along with the hotel. This is left overs of home cook. Terrible food with ** * hotel rates. Ants in the hotel room. No ethics, No manners. Thanks Bhaskar

We received a very warm welcome from the Owner upon arrival and the stay was absolute pleasure. You will feel it is not a hotel, but it is a home-palace. Only 15 min away from railway station, but still situated in a very peace place. Very well decorated, and the open garden was ice on cake. Food quality they serve... More

Of our 7 properties booked for our trip to India based on tripadvisor reviews- this let us down. It was dirty, small sheets, dodgy hot water, no bottled water and stagnant ponds with mossies. We stayed one night(we had paid 50% for 3 rooms for 4 nights) and left. Love Jaipur Travel writer had. also recommended as her home in Jaipur.... More

Brilliantly located hotel just outside of Jaipur centre. The family and staff who run the hotel were extremely friendly and incredibly helpful in organising transport, sightseeing etc. The hotel grounds were nicely kept and the food was tasty too. An oasis from the madness of Jaipur! Highly recommended for those on a budget.

The most beautiful area, a lovely outdoor space but the inside has lots to desire. Stayed there in jan 2014 and was very disappointed with the indoors... just a little tacky... while they do look after a lot of cleaning personally but still not clean enough... glasses are dirty, sheets small for the bed and towels torn... specially when jaipur... The Shahar Palace is a wonderful escape from the crazy streets of the Pink City! It is a calm space where you can take a breather. The location is well situated close to all the places with a short cheap tuk-tuk ride away. The Hotel is run by fantastic people who are willing to help with anything you need. Accommodation... More

The Shahar Palace is a true gem right in the centre of Jaipur. It's location is perfect and the family who run it are absolutely amazing. They are so friendly and helpful. I stayed at the Shahar Palace for 3 nights after spending 3 weeks trekking and climbing in Ladakh. The welcoming Singh family and their staff and the beautiful gardens were just what I needed after a somewhat physically exhausting few weeks. I had very attentive email communications prior to arriving and was picked up literally from my train carriage at... More
