My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel in late May 2009. We got the "Royal Suite" I think, which was off of the main floor. Quite close to the main entrace. This isn't so bad really. It's a converted 1800's family house I think... turned into a hotel. There are a lot of rooms at this place, all styled... more

When we stayed at the Hotel Madhuban in Nov/08 we were met at the train station by a very clean car with friendly driver. Upon arriving at the small quiet heritage haveli we entered a lovely blossoming garden and saw beautifully painted elephants on the walls of the hotel. Our super delux room had beautiful furnishings, 4 poster bed and... more

Friends of ours recommended that we stay at the Madhuban when we visited Jaipur as they had enjoyed the heritage feel - and so did we. The garden is lovely, our room was very comfortable and breakfast was nice although we found the restaurant a bit charmless. However we felt the place was completely undermined by the service, and i... more

We stayed here for 5 nights in April. The staff were very keen to please and were consistently polite and helpful. There was no expectation for continuous tipping, as can be the case at many Indian hotels. The gardens and swimming pool were delightful as were the dogs! The room was spacious, authentically decorated and well-maintained throughout with all of... more

My husband and I, along with our parents, stayed a few nights at Madhuban. We loved everything about it! The rooms were each unique and the staff was phenomenal! It was a respite from the city and very reasonably priced. I'd stay there again! more

People see things different ways. Having just read the most recent reviews of the Madhuban I was astounded by the critiques of those writing in. The hotel was absolutely beautiful, relaxing, and clean. The rooms were lovely. We had the deluxe (charming) and the super deluxe (super charming) rooms. If someone thinks 800 rupees (15 - 20 dollars) extra is... more

Jaipur is a hectic, noisy and dusty city, so if you want somewhere that offers both a great base for exploring and somewhere to escape from all the kerfuffle, the Madhuban is a perfect fit. A gated entrance takes you to the reception area where the two guard dogs may be snoozing and where you will probably be spoken to... more

We stayed here for a total of 5 nights, in both the 'delux' and 'super-delux' rooms. The delux room was on first impressions one of the better we have stayed in in India. However, the cracks soon started to show. Our main complaint is the terrible service. The hotel has a pleasant garden area, but it is almost impossible to... more

We came here as the final part of our Rajasthan tour and were referred here as we were told this would be good stay. The Hotel was the most expensive of our hotels in Rajasthan and we were very surprised to receive such terrible service. The waiters were extremely lazy and rude, hiding/taking a nap whilst lunch service was still... more

We stayed at Hotel Madhuban during a recent trip through Rajasthan. It's a lovely, clean, relaxing hotel with a wonderful garden area. The pool is stunning, but cold. . THe location is a bit out of the way from central Jaipur, but that only gives the hotel its peaceful feeling. We are a family of four with 2 young children.... more
