What a lovely place to stay...immensely friendly staff and appealingly sited building. I love the peacocks and the gardens and the complications involved in finding your room. I like the sit-outs and their discreet lighting. The food isn't terrific, though breakfast is pleasing. The Royal suites are worth paying for, wonderful bathroom/wet room. The manager offered to put a deckchair... More

The property had a lot of character and was well maintained. The rooms were very spacious and clean, and everything worked well. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The food at the restaurant was great. The property was also very quiet.

First, you have to love India and its decadent side. Second, choose the rooms, there are some beautiful. Third: if become regular customers, (or propose to become one) talk to Wilson, the manager, will make excellent discounts. The gardens are large and numerous, walks, run, I do Tai Chi. Visit the palace full of terraces with stunning views, great for... More

Peace and quiet in the madness of Jaipur! Small, quaint hotel, just what you need after a hot day touring the city. Room we had was fine, nothing special but perfectly adequate. Internet access is dirt cheap too. The restaurant was better than I expected. Great portions and delicious curry. Recommend for people to stay here, made very welcome.

Our first impression was what a beautiful place. We arrived in the middle of the Holi celebrations so, understandably everything was rather disrupted. Unfortunately, this disruption continued throughout our stay. The building is beautiful, the rooms interesting. Some more interesting and luxurious than others. All of us (8 rooms) had the same experience with the linen. The bed covers.duvets were... More

I loved the authenticity of this hotel, it was straight out of a Wes Anderson film. The staff is lovely, don't miss the paintings produced by a lovely father and son team in the front lobby. Our room was huge and it over looked a terrace. Simply enchanting.

Faultless in service and perfectly located, the diggi palace hotel stands out for its expansive campus and old world charm. Sprawling lawns where our kids would chase peacocks and entertaining performances to make dinners outdoors in the lawns fun added to the uniqueness of this experience. This is not a five star but it's a stay that you will remember... More

Alas my days at Ramburgh Palace, which I consider to be one of the finest Hotels in the world are numbered, now that I have discovered Diggi Palace. At a fraction of the price but with a more intimate feel in lovely green surroundings. Staff are under the watchful control of the owners who could not be more charming or... More

February 2015 marked my return to Hotel Diggi Palace, almost 11 years after my first visit, as part of a charity expedition to Khandel and the surrounding villages. I had fond memories of Diggi Palace, as a hidden oasis from the crowds and heat of the Indian Summer. I was delighted upon my arrival that the owner not only remembered... More

We got to Jaipur at 5 AM in the morning and were happy to find someone waiting for us. The room was beautiful, elegant, old-fashioned. it's true that this isn't the most efficient place: if internet is down, you might have to wait a few hours till it's fixed. Still, the garden is a great place to read and relax,... More
