We arrived at the hotel on a Friday night to find it dusty and uncomfortable with surly, insolent staff with dirty uniforms. The porters who carried up our 4 bags demanded extra tips when they had already been given 100 rupees. We went into the dining room for dinner to find almost no food and again very unhelpful staff in... More

We almost didnt stay at this hotel. Mcafee rates the website "a potential threat." The reservations desk asked for our credit card number and exp by email (we ended up prepaying by bank draft). The property is GORGEOUS and the service wonderful. A real haveli (castle), the owner Maharaja lives on the property. The hotel is the best I have... More

Wonderful heritage property. Very well maintained and child friendly. We were there for three days with three kids and my parents. It was everything we needed. Lovely rooms with huge verandas, beautiful gardens and song birds. I highly recommend it. It is located on a busy street that is not very pretty, but the noise does not carry in.

This charming hotel is a peaceful secluded garden in the midst of chaotic Jaipur. It is almost invisible from the street. However, upon passing through the front door, you leave the noise and hustle and bustle of the city outside and enter into an idyllic garden and beautiful, romantic buildings. Very nice swimming pool. Excellent breakfast with very attentive waiters.... More

We stayed for a few night in Alsisar Haveli in Jaipur and had a lovely experience. The location is a bit away from the city centre and the near by area mainly consists of small workshops, meaning you need to drive a bit to get to shops and more cosy areas. The hotel restaurant is a bit expensive (with breakfast... More

We stayed for two nights at the Alsisar during our golden triangle tour. The hotel is a calm oasis against the frantic hustle & bustle of the streets outside. We had a room on the top floor and had to access it through corridors and winding staircases which opened up to a wonderful roof terrace where you could watch the... More

We reached Alsisar Haveli (the other choice was Samode Bagh) in Jaipur when a friend commented that it is most romantic place. It is indeed. Whether it is the romance with history, traditions, hospitality, food, ambience, Alsisar Haveli simply stands out. Starting right from the door knobs in the reception area to the paintings in the dinning hall or in... More

We stayed for a couple of nights in the Alsisar Haveli. We were on a pre-booked and organised tour and there was good and bad about this hotel. First the bad bits: Our room for the first night was in the older bit at the back of the hotel. To say it was dilapidated would be an understatement! It was... More

I was travelling in Jaipur, particularly Rajasthan wherein I had a chance to stay at the Alsisar Haveli, Jaipur for 2 days. This is a very nice boutique and authentic heritage hotel in which I loved the Rajput architecture. It took half an hour from the airport. I personally loved the large elevated platform and the spacious lobby with high... More

We found the rooms and the hotel itself very nice. Our room was spacious and the bed was fine too. Since we arrived in Jaipur without reservation of an hotel room, we found it difficult to get a room here and had first to stay in another hotel. Therefore if you want to go there, better reserve first. Only downside... More
