of all our hotels in india this one was average. Nice rooms but the food is average and the service as well. It is a real big city hotel and we missed the personal touch. you can walk to the city center in 15 minutes but is is a walk along side a bussy road.

My friend and i traveled to Jaipur recently. Having stayed at the Leela's and the Oberoi at the first leg of our travel, we were honestly taken by surprise at what this quaint hotel had to offer. Don't judge the hotel by the lanes that lead you to it. We were totally blown away once we were at the property... More

This hotel was absolutely charming. We really felt like we were staying with the Maharaja and his family. The rooms were filled with original artwork, sculptures and family photo portraits. The restaurant was exquisite walls and ceilings intricately painted. The evening meal was served by candlelight in the central courtyard. Every afternoon we would swim in the pool with the... More

We have spent here 2 days during our trip trough the Rajastan. The hotel is great. The service is very caring and the quality of the food is high. The rooms are very clean. It has a nice pool and a good SPA. For sure u will appreciate this after having had a day hanging around Jaipur. I recommend it... More

Rajasthan's Jaipur, or the Pink City, which is actually kind of orange is definitely a recommended destination. In the midst of the constant noise of car horns, tuk-tuks navigating their way among multitudes of people in an intense monsoon rain season, the Samod provided a welcome oasis of calm. The haveli- style hotel has friendly and helpful staff. Pretty much... More

A Heritage Haveli. Absolutely loved it. Right in the Pink City, lovely rooms great service and food. Loved the Pool area. Only downside to our room was low doorways both to our courtyard and also through to our bathroom.

The hotel is beautiful. Everything is finished to an excellent standard, the room, the hotel courtyard, swimming pool and restaurant are spectacular. However, we had two vary bad experiences with staff "recommending" places to visit, which unfortunately ruined what could have been a prefect hotel experience. This is not what we expected from a such a highly rated hotel where... More

My third stay here. It is a family -run hotel and the food is good. The buffet service is excellent and the staff are both friendly and attentive. The rooms are spotless and we were enchanted by the block-printed bedlinen along with the handpainted wall decorations. It was a little chilly to use the pool this time but still great... More

A peaceful place in the midst of the old city of Jaipur: upon arriving at the Samode Haveli everything becomes quiet. You're welcomed with a drink on the veranda on a patio while check-in takes place. The Samode Haveli used to be the town residence of a royal family( some members still live here) and is now partially hotel. So... More

This haveli (built in the 19th century as a resort for the royal family) is conveniently located near the center of Jaipur, close to the main renown places of this city (the old city, the City Palace including the Wind Palace and a great ancient observatory) and not far the not-to-be-missed Amber fort. The architecture of the building is quite... More
