The hotel has opened a new bar and restaurant. It is amazing. the owner being a very good chef himself and one that has a good eye for decor, has come up with a magnificent place. The bar is very special and a must go to place in jaipur. the food is also very good and focus on the Indian... More

On a food tour around Northern India this had to be the most authentic charming colonial hotel I stayed in with impeccable service. The rooms are wonderful, many like mine up a tiny staircase, through a lovely courtyard. The beds are high off the ground, fabulously comfortable, the bathrooms lined in zigzag marble. The large courtyard a lovely place to... More

The hotel's property as a whole was beautiful--gorgeous courtyard, and the pool area is truly heavenly! The couple I was traveling with had a lovely room ("double deluxe") with a great bathroom that made for a wonderful experience. However, if you get a "single deluxe" room, it is a completely different experience. The blanket on the bed was very dirty,... More

We stayed here for 3 nights during our 2 weeks to India and it was our favourite hotel. We were upgraded to the Mirror Suite (Room 115) which was stunning. We felt like Maharajahs. The hotel is beautiful and a charming oasis in the middle of Jaipur. The food was great, the staff great (although service can be a bit... More

Got a glimpse of what the royals must have lived like. An overnight stay of indulgence This is one of the best palace experiences that I have ever had and will be an experience to remember for life. Experienced excellent Rajasthan cuisine and a beautiful palace.

Stunning building oozing character within the Old Town. As a family we had 3 rooms with connecting balconies (305-307). All vast with huge bathrooms and separate sitting areas as as well a the balcony. Sitting on the sofas in the reception courtyard feels like a Best Exotic Marigold where everything works! The staff anticipate your every need but are friendly... More

It's not often I come across a hotel that I wish to just stay in and pass the time by, but I've now found it! This was a super special place with wonderful rooms, courtyards, staff and food. I stayed in 2 different rooms and both were just pure bliss. Beds were so comfortable and the design will make any... More

If I hadn't stayed at another Samode hotel before, I would have been blown away by the size of our room (303). We had two excellent dinners in the restaurant, and the choice and standard at breakfast was also high. There's a lovely pool here, so this makes a perfect place to return to after a hard day's sightseeing.

Stayed 3 nights in what can only be described as a beautiful apartment on the roof. Anywhere alternative location, and a few floors higher, it would be called a Penthouse! The Haveli exceeded our expectations in every aspect and despite being in the middle of the city was a perfect place to relax having had a packed itinerary for the... More

A wonderful hotel to enjoy. Excellent service throughout. Room 109 far better than we could have hoped for, not only a comfortable bath for two but a huge shower. Four poster bed. Separate large dressing room with desk and free wifi. Really extraordinary though a Gallery yes a gallery about 6 metres long with open niches to the bedroom. The... More
