Once we got to the hotel we were very warmly welcomed. One of the receptionists took us around the hotel and showed us our room. We were quite surprised by the size of the room as it was very spacious and yet equipped with everything. The room gave a feeling like we were living in the past like kings. The... More

When we arrived at the hotel we thought that we would be staying in the slum. But that's India. Slum is always right next door. Fortunately the hotel is a small oasis of tranquility and good ambience, in an otherwise congested and crowded city. We stayed for two nights during the Diwali festival. The city was sooo busy. The hotel... More

A narrow alley access off a scruffy street doesn't augur well, but the alley opens onto lawns and cane-chair filled verandahs, which take you back 100 years. The rooms are very comfortable, with dramatic pillared bathrooms! OK the bath didn't work but let's not nit pick! More importantly the TV and WIFI didn't work, but did on my second night.... More

When we first pulled off the street, we were thinking...WHERE THE HECK ARE WE? It is off a very busy street in Jaipur with lots of action all night! But when you pull in, there is a wonderful courtyard surrounded by what used to be a home of a king's son. Interesting story. Food was good. Lots of non Indian... More

The breakfast and dinner was held in a large hall on the 1st something verstecketen Stock instead, which unfortunately was due to poor ventilation options a little stuffy. Better eat on the patio. Selection and taste of food well. The little nice-designed pool in the backyard and had barely got sun for its cleanliness little to inspire confidence. Very good... More

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Overall the hotel was fairly nice but the rooms are something else - huge bedroom, living area, dressing room and a bathroom soooo massive. However, as the rooms are so huge they seem a little sparse and one night, having spent 15 minutes turning on/off every switch I could find, I could... More

Arrived at the hotel to a beautiful welcome and a lovely room. The hotel is a charming old building, our room was large, clean and well decorated. I had breakfast, lunch and dinner At the restaurant which was nice and reasonable for hotel prices. The only downside of this hotel is that it charges for wifi! Apart from that highly... More

Driving through Jaipur we despaired of every finding our tranquil hotel we had been promised. However, in the middle of all that chaos our driver stopped and drove through an almost hidden set of gates into a small drive leading to a very pretty open foyer with twinkling lights and tinkling water features. What opened in front of us was... More

We stayed here for three nights in February. We loved this hotel with all the atmosphere that these historical buildings possess. You arrive from a busy street into an oasis of calm. Our room was lovely, overlooking the pool, a spacious, pillared bathroom and a separate sitting room. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was fine. My husband... More

We stayed here as part of a Tulsi textiles tour. The hotel is on an unprepossessing road but through the gates you are in a different world of gardens and historic charm. We had an interesting room overlooking the swimming pool with a large quirky bathroom with pillars. and we had no problems with hot water. The swimming pool was... More
