A remarkable property with outstanding staff. There are many, many hotels to choose from in Jaipur and most have nefarious claims to the history of the city. This is the real deal, the only authentic palace that is now a really excellent hotel. Avoid imitations - book your stay at the Raj Palace.

We stayed there for two nights in May. Once passed the main entrance of the hotel, we found ourselves in a heavenly environment with nothing left to do but admire the architecture and the gardens of the property. Large room with a private terrace although it was too hot to sit outside for long. Lovely pool area in one of... More

I was surprised by many details, specially the welcome guards, drinks, the jewelry and arts. A confort and class heritage palace with a antique and bucolic indian elegance. The staff was gentle and discreet. The room wasn't really like a princess room, but we got high beds, feathers pillows, ar-conditioner, huge bath and bathtub. And the breakfast was more than... There is no doubting this is amazing hotel , and I can see it is designed more for business people. Great setting and facilities , and the only reason it gets a 4 star rather than 5star. This is simply because of me having Delhi belly and struggling to find something plain , and because of my son felt on... More

We absolutely loved our stay at The Raj Palace. Jaipur is quite dirty and smelly then you walk though the gate to the Raj and its a little paradise. The restaurant is incredible everything we ordered was delicious. It was a bit out of our price range to eat a big meal every night but that is to be expected... More

Were brought here for lunch and a puppet show but didn't stay here. The hotel looked really nice and the service we encountered was wonderful. The puppet show wasn't that great but the lunch was very good.

This charming and grand palace converted into a hotel was fabulous. Everyone greeted us with a cheerful Namaste everyday. Our room with high ceilings, plenty of storage, a sitting area overlooking the well manicured grounds, comfortable beds and a bathroom suite large enough to entertain. Lots of museum quality artifacts throughout that you must see; winding hallways and alcoves to... More

This was a lovely experience...had a fabulous time...service was excellent..we were treated like royalty! The only areas for improvement - the toilets could be a little bigger and there should be entertainment options available - especially in the evenings..

This was such a unique experience. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very nice. Staff are attentive. The only negative would be the pool. It's so cold as it does not get much sun. You cannot go into the water as it's like an ice-bath. Maybe that's common in India, but Westerners like a little warmth.
