Overall this is a beautiful property and the rooms are well appointed and very spacious. There were a few service glitches (water not being consistently hot and a guest who visited the hotel being spoken to rudely and chased for his ID). However, attempts were made to rectify issues quickly and politely and overall service was very good. Wifi is... More

Wow.... what a magnificent experience! We went to the hotel many moons ago for lunch and were blown away. Such luxuriousness... such splendour. India and Jaipur within are such wonderful places. Even this evening our memories jumped back to those magical times.

We were so happy to have spent our time at the Raj Palace in Jaipur as it was a real royal treat! The hotel is very unique in the sense that it is an old palace converted into a hotel and hence you really can feel the history and grandeur of the environment. The rooms were nice and artistic and... More

First stay in the Raj Palace and it was exquisite. The palace is a beauty on its own with many court yards, alcoves and antiques giving it a lot of "cachet". The room was very comfortable and spacious with its own private little museum. Service was great as well in particular the team at the restaurant. We had dinner at... More

My husband and I spent three nights at the Raj and absolutely loved it. The palace is quaint and ornate. The staff are attentive and great resources for local tips (i.e. where to buy a Salwaar Kameez for a Sangeet party) This property offers unique experiences like a Thali dinner and a nightly yoga class. We easily arranged a driver... More

The physical property is amazing - there are so many courtyards within courtyards, passages connecting different parts of the hotel. Everything is beautifully decorated and aesthetically pleasing - nice gray marble in the bathroom. Given its heritage status, the layout of the rooms are a bit odd and the beds are queen-size, but that doesn't discount the experience. I like... More

Our room has charm and gracefully kept period style with modern facilities . Fantastic breakfast in a charming atmosphere. Definately an experience to be had for those not on a budget.
