Loved my stay at the Palace. Yes, it's in need of a fresh paint job but aside from that, this gem offers tranquility and solace in the midst of Jaipur. I loved the ambiance. Service was also excellent. I highly recommend a stay at this charming place. Location is good, and management is friendly. A welcome ending to a very... More

Stayed here for 4 nights recently and had the most relaxing stay. Room was very spacious and bed very comfortable. AC and fan both worked which was great as was 40C + outside! Staff extremely courtous and helpful. Location of the hotel is good, a couple of minutes from Chandipole Gate and a small market nearby. A pleasant walk takes... More

The pictures of the Bissau Palace on Tripadvisor suggest a well maintained palatial paradise unfortunately the reality is a run down, once grand hotel that needs a good refurbishment. Good; The palace compound is set apart from the rough surrounding area and guard by security. The Lobby maintains some of its brilliance evident from the photos. The food was fine... More

Located close to the city centre, a quaint little palace. The interiors of the dining hall, sitting area for some instrumental music and even the sit out for some chai is every bit fit for a king. me and my husband celebrated out anniversary there and enjoyed being treated like royalty. They even upgraded us on the last day to... More

Have a look around the lobby at all the items on display. It is a small museum. The rooms are basic and functional. The pool is refreshing after walking the streets during the day. about a 10 minute or less walk to the main road.

Just outside the city wall, so great location. main building has to be seen to be believed - amazing. rooms basic, and dark, but clean and functional. food service very very slow (over 90 minutes wait for a cheese sandwich, which was really GRIM) Bar service ok, if you can find a waiter :-) small pool

I would like to recommend this heritage hotel to all visitors, who would like to experience a "palace" atmosphere at a very reasonable price. It is located close to the old bazaar, a bit chaotic location, but I believe you will enjoy this hotel very much with its friendly staff, big and comfortable rooms.

The palace is really beautiful and quaint though it needs a bit of renovation. The rooms are nicely decorated but the upholstery is a bit dirty and needs some changing. The staff is very accommodating and friendly, one can ask around for some friendly advice. The courtyard is beautiful, one can enjoy a drink or two there at night. The... More

What a place to stay...in a palace! We really enjoyed our stay here. The reception, lobby, lounge and restaurant area are decorated with interesting paintings and momentos, with very comfortable furniture we felt like royalty. For something a bit different we would highly recommend this hotel. Our room has a four poster bed and was clean with hot showers. The... More
