Fabulous heritage hotel within walking distance of the bazaar and main sights of Jaipur. Beautiful building and gardens and helpful staff. Indian buffet breakfast and dinner are amazing and the lounge (complete with hunting trophies, photos with royalty and polo memorabilia) a delightful spot to sip a beer while listening to sitar and tabla. Just look at our bedroom!

Stayed at the hotel for two nights and we loved it! The hotel lobby was really interesting with all the memorabilia from the hotel's past. Great front porch to sit and have a drink after a days touring Jaipur. The breakfast was nice and the staff were very friendly. The room we had was painted very colourfully and was very... More

I found this place truly wonderful - a real experience. Wonderful dining room, great breakfast, tropical gardens, walls all painted with flowers, helpful staff. A real faded colnial grandeur and a departure from the norm!

Away from the maddening crowd! Go in through those gates and you enter another era. Magnificent entrance, brilliant welcome, old world heritage hotel this is. Sorry hotel I guess is the wrong word, the home of nobility, that's what it is. The team are super friendly, Sandeep is a massive help, welcomed us and saw us off! The room we... More

I couldn't believe my eyes when we got to this hotel. It's gorgeous! You don't know where to look, everything is stunning, the walls, the ceilings... out of a fairytale. The sitting room is incredible, especially if you're lucky like us and are entertained by two boys playing lovely music and singing. And my room (101) was just as beautiful,... More

Situated in a little bit of a dingy area but the Hotel itself is decent. The rooms are very traditional and had all that was needed but a bit of an upgrade is needed. The restaurant is very nice but a little pricey, but it comes with free wifi so everyone seems to accept it. There is a spice and... More

This is an impressive property overall and generally very nice. However, my toilet leaked on the floor when flushed and the shower curtain was quite dirty. I must have had a dud for a room as the rest of our group thought there rooms were great. It's an old palace which is cool to stay in for sure.

Really enjoyed our stay here. A quiet oasis in a very busily city. The staff were delightful and all their service was excellent. The rooms were all very individual, clean and comfortable. We ate there several times and the food was good. Watching the sun go down from the roof terrace with hundreds of kites flying was fantastic. We gad... More
