Really enjoyed our stay here. A quiet oasis in a very busily city. The staff were delightful and all their service was excellent. The rooms were all very individual, clean and comfortable. We ate there several times and the food was good. Watching the sun go down from the roof terrace with hundreds of kites flying was fantastic. We gad... More

I stayed at the Bissau Palace for two weeks from late January to mid Feb and chose it largely because it was very near the dentist to whom I needed to go nearly every day. I had one room for the first night and moved to a larger one for the rest of my stay. Both were beautifully decorated and... More

If you enjoy a bit of history this is a great place to stay. We had an outside room which was shabby Chic but quite comfortable. the breakfast was pleantiful and good and the waiters from the old school in dress and demeanour. the lounge areas and library were filled with family artifacts and I could have spent much longer... Good place to stay and enjoy your visit in Jaipur. Economical and nice heritage hotel to stay. Staffs were very courteous. Evening music in hotel – Tabla and Sitar players were amazing. The puppet show in evening was also good. A nice place to enjoy, culture of Rajasthan.

Intriguing place to stay near one of the gates into the old city of Jaipur. Bissau palace is a family home turned into a hotel packed full of history. Imagine a National Trust house full of family treasures and photos transported to the heart of Rajisthan and that's what you'll find here. Look out for the Bissau family relaxing with... More

Stunning rooms, and fabulous paintings make this original palace a great place to stay, and only a short walk from the centre of Jaipur. Complete with library, bar, and great restaurant, the hotel is both modern and has all the heritage trappings of the old palace. Always ask to check out the other rooms however as the first one we... I stayed here with a group of 15 people for a week in December 2014. The hotel itself is quite amazing with so much to look at - as described by other reviewers. The hotel manager and other staff were all really helpful and friendly. I found the food delicious - a vegetarian's paradise :-) The rooms are all very... More

This was a really interesting experience from start to finish. Initially we were given a room that was very dark and poorly ventilated, two rooms down from the jewellery shop. The bathroom was in a poor state of cleanliness and the hotel really should do something about the condition of the bath facilities before using this particular room for guests,... More

This converted palace to hotel is quite interesting. Large rooms, funky locks on doors, it is pretty much the same as 100 years ago. They have free wifi but it never worked, even in the lobby. It is a historic place near the market place in old town. Hard to find. Quiet despite being in old town. Nice place to... More
