This hotel was a magical stop on a 13-night tour of India before attending a wedding in Mumbai. Prior to arriving in Jaipur, we stayed for one night at the Oberoi in Agra - also an amazing hotel. We loved the Rambagh Palace! It is a stunning property - from the huge room, to the flower arrangements, to the candles... more

This was our first trip to India and will probably be our last. We arrived in Jaipur sick from the food in our previous hotel, sick from the relentless air pollution, sick of guides who really only want to guide you to their "special shops;" if you have been to India you know what I mean. As a result, the... more

Considering this is an old palace our expectations were high and we were not disappointed. Everything is perfect here, the rooms, the grounds, and the food. We dined in the main dining room and felt as close to royalty as we were going to get. No detail is missed; they even sent a cake to our suite for my birthday.... more

Had a wonderful few days in the Rambaugh Palace. It is an outstanding hotel in all respects. The room was very spacious (we were upgraded to a suite) and immaculately kept and serviced. We joked about the house elfs constantly tidying up our clothes. The lawns provide a large expanse of greenery around the palace and create a beautiful setting... more

Just had only a marvellous dinner with a group of tourist, spending their time onboard a well appointed train. The reception by this hotel with elefants and horses was beautifull. The hotel is a typical Taj Hotel building, just like in Mumbai. We only spend here a few hours, but what I have seen was very good, also the rooms... more

This hotel truly makes you feel like royalty. Everything was perfect. The staff was very, very, very, attentive and helpful. The breakfast buffet had interesting exotic fruits that I must find here. The rooms were well appointed to the level of being palatial. Even late at night the grounds were peaceful and lit in such a way that I almost... more

I didn't stay at the rambagh palace, but did manage to spend a few hours at the hotel one evening having drinks and dinner. From my brief time there, I have the following comments: 1. The hotel appears to provide a true 5 star experience 2. The hotel itself, the rooms, the grounds, etc. are all immaculate and well maintained.... more
