This former palace is lovely , the gardens and grounds were beauifully maintained , what a shame the rooms aren't equally looked after. When we arrived in our room we were instantly disappointed especailly with the bathroom it was just aweful very dated and in need of total replacement .We spoke with the duty manager who said we could not... more

This experience is one of those experiences you tell everyone is not possible to explain in words. It must be individually experienced to understand. This is a real palace...functioning as a real palace until the late 1950's. It still has the feel of a palace, even if it has become a little commercialized. As we understood, the original royal family... more

The Rambagh Palace is a wonderful, elegant property, a true oasis of calm & refinement in the midst of crazy Jaipur. We unfortunately only stayed there for 1 night, but even for one day all the staff seemed to know our name & made sure our stay was really special. The room & bathroom were lovely & full of wonderful... more

Wow...We stayed here with a small group. We traveled through India with 5 couples. This was the nicest hotel we stayed in during our three week trip and my husband and I decided that this hotel was the nicest we've ever stayed in. This hotel was the total package...elegant, well appointed, beautiful. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The... more

The Rambagh totally lives up to one's expectations of a Grand Palace. Beautiful grounds with peacocks wandering around, large plush bedrooms with walk-in closets and marble bathrooms, attentive service, great food in the restaurants. I would have loved the swimming pool to be heated - but other than that - Perfect. more

We felt like sultans, staying in this former Jaipur royal palace. The breathtakingly beautiful courtyards and grounds, and period-decorated but fully comfortable, large rooms provide the setting. The staff completes the picture, from the groundskeepers with flags prowling the courtyards to shoo pigeons away to the folks in the hallways who are always willing to drop what they are doing... more

This hotel was a magical stop on a 13-night tour of India before attending a wedding in Mumbai. Prior to arriving in Jaipur, we stayed for one night at the Oberoi in Agra - also an amazing hotel. We loved the Rambagh Palace! It is a stunning property - from the huge room, to the flower arrangements, to the candles... more
