The best welcome ever at a hotel. The heritage property has been maintained very well, and the ambiance was awesome. The best was the recreational area in the hall where you can spend your time playing chess or taking photographs. It is situated in the heart of the city with walking distance to many tourist places. The hotel staff and the... More

It's a nice old heritage property, showing greatness of old times.quite peaceful from hustle bustle despite being in city centre. nearby to major tourist destinations.like city palace & Hawa Mahal. Thou, comfortable but, facilities like intercom & telephone for guests are missing.one need to go to reception for asking any in house services. The best welcome I have ever had at a hotel. Our tour group was greeted with a shower of rose petals, a garland of flowers, a welcome drink and a tikka dot on our foreheads. During the two day stay the staff continued to treat us with the same level of attention which all in all, added up to a... More

I will never forget the welcome which I received at this place. The staff gave us a welcome drink, did pooja welcome for us, put "tikkas" on our foreheads and rose petals on our heads. It was funny but memorable. This place is basically a haweli turned into a bed and breakfast with beautiful rooms, reception area and terrace. The... More

This was my favourite hotel room of my entire india backpacking experience. The hotel is very querky with each room being so different. It is a 300 year old house converted. We paid £10 a night and our room was spectacular. It was very big and spacious.. with a big beautiful bed. It was beautifully decorated. The courtyard areas were... More

Greeted with a fresh flower garland, lassi, and flower-petals... and it just got better after that. I was led up interwoven courtyards past detailed stucco latice-work to a massive suite with columns, flowing curtains, a sitting area, and a bathroom with a tub[!] In a nutshell, the Haveli is a gorgeous piece of Mughal-Era architecture, in a quiet street but... We had a lovely warm welcome from staff at this hotel, with a complementary drink and a very knowledgeable short talk on local attractions. Our room was very clean and spacious (we were offered a choice of two) and trendy, with a little lounge area by the bed. Staff were obviously conscious of the cold weather, and offered us as... More

This hotel is very central, but still in a quiet place. It is a beautiful haveli made with love for details. Many different kinds of rooms, some facing yards. Rooms are very peaceful and quiet, and absolutely clean. You can spend many days or weeks there and still feel well. Staff is very friendly and helpful, really no complaints. And... More
