Very beautiful hotel and the staff were so friendly and helpful =) The manager Rakesh is an absolute blessing! Even though he was extremely busy he went out of his way to book me a train ticket! He made numerous calls and kept following up on seats availability. His service is a straight 10! I am so thankful for him!... More

Hey! You ensured a spot bonus for Rakesh. He is delighted and so are we. For he has stood by the principle our hotel is built upon, which is ‘to care’ and not only serve. Cheers and see you soon. More

This was one of our favourite hotels during our month in India - after some busy weeks, we found that we could rest here in a comfortable environment. The food served in the rooftop restaurant is good. The rooms are well kept, and the prices are good for the quality of the facilities. WiFi was good. Unfortunately I became ill... More

We arrived at pearl palace (recommended in the lonely planet) but rooms were tiny box rooms which were expensive especially as they didn't have attached bathrooms, so we decided to check out Chitra Batha across the street. Chitra is a new building and exceptionally clean with larger rooms , complete with attaché bathrooms and TV set. It was a no... More

It was great to receive you and this review. Thanks a lot for appreciating our rooms and stating that you found them to be better than what’s rated as No.1 in Jaipur. It is certainly something that we would like to boast. As far laundry is concerned, the rates are very clearly mentioned at the reception and any guest can... More

I stayed at this hotel during the Jaipur Literature Festival. Hotel has co-operative staff, good food and drinks, rooms and bathroom are clean. The best part of the hotel is the terrace. Rooms and bathroom are not very great but value for money. Lot of foreigner's stay at the hotel.

Thank you so much remembering us, even after a couple of months of you staying with us. Jaipur Literature Festival is an excellent place for cultural bonhomie and has certainly created a name for itself among travel troops across the globe. We loved the title of your review and the fact that you loved the view from our terrace. Thanks... More

Can't imagine myself staying at other hotel in Jaipur then Chitra Katha. Rakesh and his crew will treat me so well that i can't see the time to get back in there. The rooms are large and clean and rooftop restaurant has a great view and excellent food. I've meet a dutch guy at the restaurant that was staying at... More

WoW! Now that’s as good as it gets on this infinite space called; the WorldWideWeb. For those who don’t know, Rakesh is our front desk manager and is a real contributor. As far as the rooms and cleanliness is concerned, it is taken care of personally, by the owner, Mr. Sharma himself. We are delighted to know that you and... More

Had a 2 nights stay in this hotel, all the staff are really nice! The boss were helpful and friendly, the restaurant staff even cook the instant noodles that we brought for free amd wash the cutlery for us! The room is good, worth the price! And the food on the roof top restaurant is delicious! A recommended place to... More

After not finding accommodation in the Pearl Palace, first choice for Lonely Planet, I tried in this hotel which is just in front. As I was looking for something cheap I got a bed in the 4 beds dorm, which unexpectedly is a great room with a new and clean bathroom. I say unexpectedly because I checked first the dorm... More

Thank you so much appreciating our dorm. Our first and foremost criteria have been and will always be to provide clean and well ventilated rooms. And dorms are no exception to this rule. We know that some guest houses give a damn about the dorm, which is silly, as the number of bag packers and solo travelers that stay in... More

We arrived on an early bus from Jaisalmer and first tried at the Lonely Planet listed Pearl Palace across the road. As that was full we entered Chitra Katha and were welcomed by a friendly member of staff who took his time to show us three different rooms. We ended up with one of the higher end rooms R2000 at... This is in our view one of the most helpful review for other travelers. Thank you so much for taking out time and sharing your views. We booked a room via Cleartrip (India) for my wife and I, as a quick weekend getaway, and basically needed a bed and breakfast place to crash for the night after exploring the city by day. We confirmed our reservation via email from Mr Anshu Ravi Sharma, who was nice enough to explain the directions, and assured a safe and... More

We are so glad to receive a review that says; "I would love to stay here again." Thank you so much for those kind words and calling our staff "courteous." In fact we love this new Indian Traveller.
