Travelling across India - from North to South - this was the first hotel after the northern ones which was extremely comforting: with hot water available in ample quantity, sunny rooms, a variety of breakfasts, friendly and secure ambiance and, what's more important, the staff who is trying hard to make your stay comfortable. The managers spoke good English, were... More

Good lunch on rooftop after a long day in Jaipur. This is a tourist restaurant in the middle of the city. Food was prompt and tasty. Service was good. Son had Mutton Rogan Josh. We had Gatta massala and Kei Sangasi. All good.

Couldn't find a listing for the restaurant, so I'll post here. What a fabulous meal! We stopped for lunch after a very long day of touring and were so so happy. Our naan was out of this world and the curries were some of the best since arriving in India. They even have free wifi (hotels could learn so much... More

Great budget option in a heritage hotel, the manager speaks perfect English and is extremely accommodating. The hotel also has a beautiful new restaurant and a rooftop terrace. Rooms are simple and pretty. Highly recommended !

I booked a room at Mahar Haveli after reading the reviews here. My wife and I were travelling from Delhi with our eight-month-old son and we were worried about the facilities available for the child. These days an infant-friendly hotel is hard to come by. Thankfully the owner and his staff were very kind and they allowed us the use... More

So i stayed 4 nights over at this hotel because my very strict and demanding Austrian friend had been living in that hotel for nearly two months. These were my first 4 night in India ever. I was visiting with my wife. First off, the staff was extremely accommodating. They had all the best insider tips on tailors, artisans, and... More

A hotel with basic good-working facilities. The owner and the staff are very friendly and helpfull which makes the stay really pleasant. The owner is looking for feedback and is self-improving so with this mentality and their kindness this will be a splendid hotel!

I had a short stay in Jaipur and was recommended Maharishi Haveli by a friend of mine. Firstly, the room I was given was very spacious, had a comfortable bed and most importantly, good AC, which was vital in the 40 degree weather of Jaipur. Furthermore, the bathroom was very large by Indian hotel standards. More importantly, while I was... More
