My wife and I, along with another couple of friends, stayed here for three nights while attending a wedding and seeing sights in Jaipur. It was a refreshing departure from the typical hotel experience. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and best of all - the place retains the atmosphere of an old nawabi house. Mr. Siraj the manager, along... More

We stayed at the Loharu House in August 2014. It was a family trip, our first time to Jaipur. Staying at numerous 5 star hotels all over India during our tour from the US, this experience was definitely memorable. We found the staff and particularly the owner to be very warm, welcoming and helpful. We appreciated the fact we could... More

We arrived at this heritage palace (part of it converted to hotel) late in the night and reaching it was pain as it is located in the high security zone and there are no signboards. Our driver too didnt know the where the hotel was located on the road and we ended up driving the ends of the road twice... More

Five of us stayed here on our way to Ranthambore - its a bit out of the centre being in civil lines but the gardens and food are just wonderful. The welcome was warm, one felt safe and the decor of the living room was a surprise - tigers abound! The rooms were clean and homly, some accessed from the... More

The house and rooms are beautiful and clean, but the positives end there. The neighborhood is nice but far from the center of town, and worst of all, is closed off to incoming traffic at midnight. It would have been nice if the staff had mentioned this. After returning from an Indian classical music concert just after midnight, I had... More

The house is pretty awesome, but it is located along with houses of top government officials, which means fewer rickshaws that you can catch easily from. Harder to travel without a taxi. We thought this place was overpriced for the amenities provided. The rooms in the rear of the building is very basic with some shabby bathroom. Not sure if... More

This princely estate will give you an idea of how the aristocracy lived in India. The dining room is richly decorated and nothing short of spectacular, almost making you wish you’d brought a full-length gown or tuxedo. Step out back and you find a beautiful, peaceful garden where you can relax as you take your afternoon tea. Our room was... More
