We went for a family vacation for 2n3D and stayed at this hotel... we took the Sea View rooms... The hotel ambience and rooms are average but the location near the Gateway of India and Beach-views is really nice... we booked through groupon and got a good deal on the price points...

The rooftop pub is a good place to hang out with friends, view of the ocean is superb at night, open air and good food and all types drinks available. Music was average but overall feel of the place is quite good.

I had the worst ever experience in life with this hotel. -my husband was asked to PREPAY for our entire stay which he did -we were checked into -a dirty room -which smelled heavily of smoke -the mattress was 1 or 2 fingers thick which was unbearable by any standard -the showers had mold -the sheets were dirty with large... My family and I booked a room at the hotel during December 2014, close to the new year. From the outside, the hotel looked dirty and old, but fortunately, once inside, the hotel looked much cleaner and well kept. For the price we paid, especially during this high season, the hotel was reasonable and served our duties just fine. The... More

It was dirty/uncleaned in the room, in the hotel. Ekstremely basic "deluxe" room - "sea view" is a small window. Had to contact reception several times for complementary water, wifi password...! Not worth the stay. Twice the money you can stay at the Taj Majal Palace

I stayed one week in this hotel in January 2015. The stay was horrible: - The room ("Deluxe") was far from looking like on the pictures of the website; I know those pictures are supposed to make you want to stay there, but here, the difference is well over the top; - The quality of room furnishing and equipment was... We arrived at around 11am to check in after a long and tiring journey. Our first impressions were not great, from the outside the Sea Palace looks drab, worn and grubby and the receptionist seemed put out by our arrival. He informed us that no booking in our name was due to stay here. Shocked and confused we made a... More

We stayed here as a family of three in a room which had a balcony with a most wonderful view of the harbour. The room was adequate, just about, and functional, no where near luxurious for the price they were charging for a harbour view room. It had the feel of a provincial, minimum amenities hotel rather than an expensive... More

The most important point about this hotel is its location. just 10 minutes walk to Colaba causeway and Gateway of India. just go for rooms with sea view. the garden view is not good at all but the sea view in upper floors is great. the staff is unfriendly and a little stupid. the food is not good. even the...
