Spent two day at The Resort in Madh/Marve Mumbai. The resort is superb set in lush greenery on Aksa Beach. The only drawback is it's quite remote. Not really worth 5*s and the air pollution from Mumbai is too bad for a true resort (I couldn't see the horizon between the sea and sky on my second day!) but it has a faded 1970s charm which I found endearing (they could film the Bollywood version of "Life on Mars" here!) and it is an oasis of peace... more
