I booked a room there and paid about 23 euros for one night which was quite cheap for Bombay. For that, I got a nice clean double room with a shower that was difficult to work at first but worked fine after. The staff were extremely polite and the restaurant/room service provided good (though small portions) of Indian food for... More

We visited here in March 2014 and stayed for 4 nights. Room was quite small but very clean and the hotel public areas were all clean also. The hotel restaurant was nice where we had breakfast and also on occasions we had lunch and dinner there, good value for money and nice food. All of the staff from management to... More

Dear Alan Thank you for the frank review. I would like to comment on the cons that you have mentioned below 1. Small room size - The room booked by yourself was the economy room which is of a smaller size. We do have deluxe rooms that are much larger. I hope you could try them on your next visit... More

I stayed in this hotel for three months. I used to check-in on Monday evenings and check out on Friday mornings. I continued this for almost 15 weeks. The hotel is small and the rooms are also not very big but it is very clean and the service is superb. There is no restaurant in the hotel but it is... More

I was pretty surprised by the high prices of "budget" places in Mumbai. KumKum was more than adequate to meet my needs for a place to stay for a few nights. The exterior and neighborhood aren't pretty, but the rooms are clean enough and the people that work there are friendly and helpful. The food served was fine, too. I'd... More

Hi Jacob thank you for the positive review. We do accept that the exterior needs renovation and we have already started the process which will be completed soon. On your next visit I'm sure you will notice the difference in the same. Regards Chirag Mody More

After travelling through India the price of accomadation in Mumbai can be a bit of a shock. However this budget hotel provides clean, safe and affordable rooms. The cafe in the hotel serves freshly prepared vegetarian options. Located not too far from Chowpatty Beach and Marine Drive, it is in a good location. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone... I was looking for a budget hotel. I decided to book this hotel based on the reviews on this website. The hotel website is easy to navigate, unfortunately I was not able to get all the nights I wanted via online booking, I made contact with the hotel via email and phone and fortunately they were able to accommodate me... Where do I start? The outside look of the hotel is a serious turn off. I was seriously taken aback when I saw the condition of the outside walls- dirty and old with paint coming off. From outside, it looks more like a lodge than a hotel. There seems to be a tax levied on smile in this hotel- the... More

Dear Sir I apologise that the stay did not meet your expectations. However I would like to point out the following 1. We have 2 categories of rooms - Superior and Deluxe as do all hotels of the world and these rooms will obviously be priced differently. You have made a choice to book the cheaper room which is obviously... More

This place is good for transient travelers looking for reasonably priced hotel. Location is accessible to taxis and you can walk to the beach. Service is okay.
