This is the worst hotel i ever stayed in. When we arrived we could not even get in our room, because it turned out the hotel was overbooked. We had to stay for one night in a nearby hostel witch was also a terrible experience. In the booking it said the room has coffee and tea making facilities and a... More

I can only agree with what dmc1989 wrote in his/her review. I stayed at Everest for three nights and I must honestly say it was one of the worst hotels in terms of standard I have ever stayed at in India. The first thing that I found offputting was the lift which looks like a metal cage and is really... More

As with my other India hotel reviews, it needs to be said that hotels in India (other than large chains) are unlike any hotels in the rest of the world. Dirty sheets and no hot water come as standard. The Everest hotel is located in Colaba district. It's about 5 minutes too far away from where you will spend most... More

Mumbai is an expensive place and you get what you pay for. The pros are free wifi, breakfast included brought to your room, and TV if you set works. The rooms are hit or miss. In the first room, the shower didn't work and the sink drained onto the floor. We were moved to a new room the followin day... More

Could not believe this hotel, actually wouldn't even call it a hotel. We were overcharged for the room, no shower, no hot water, no towels; sink in the bathroom would not drain. fan only had one speed and was so noisy that you couldn't sleep with it on. AC also had only one speed frozen and if you turned it... More

Do not stay in this hotel. It is dirty, the sheets have holes in them not to mention seriously questionable stains. We had no towel, no toilet roll, the AC was like have a nuclear power station at the end of the bed, it constantly sounded like it was about to explode or fall off the wall onto us, either... More
