We only stayed here for one night as we where flying out to Trivandrum the following morning. The only good thing about this Hotel was it is close to the airport, THAT IS IT! Quality hotels in the large cities in India are hard to find unless you are prepared to spend £200 plus per night , so this needs... More

having already been to mumbai and not liked it we wanted a hotel that was close to the airport for a pick up and a drop off the next day. this place was perfect. Pick up was organised and there is an army of staff to help you into the hotel and room with bags...possibly because they are all looking... More

The websites promised "luxury" and the photos looked very nice. our group consisted of two couples. I booked this hotel because we wanted to be close to the airports and were checking in late at night and leaving the next morning. The car was there to pick us up. There were six of us to be transported and it was... More

Like many other travelers, I arrived in Mumbai in the middle of the night. I had arranged to be picked up by the hotel "shuttle" and after reading some other reviews I was crossing my fingers and hoping for the best. (esp. since my flight had been delayed over an hour and I had made my reservations over email). It... More

Very small rooms and if your room is facing the street you need ear plugs to sleep as its very noisy. Were only there for 1 night between flights so it was ok, but really nothing special. Their credit card machine broke as well when we checked out so we had to pay in cash. We had to wait about... More

Tiny rooms , basically clean. Not at all good value for money. It did not appear to be a very freindly neighbourhood. Airport pick up was good but it is supposed to be free but drivers expect a tip.ALso not very close to the airport and the traffic is horrendous. The worst thing about it was we had 'agreed' a price... More

We stayed at the Midland last March and also in 2006 and 2005....have just read the reviews and feel a bit of balance might be fairer...hence this brief review. Good points:- Airport pick up - patient, pleasant and reliable. - and free. Location - interesting. Lively and fascinating area..was not too noisy. Great restaurants within 30 yards! Staff and service... More

my only chance to book when Mumbay's hotels where 100% booked. Took my phone reservation without asking for credit card details. Arrived after midnight and my reservation was still there. Small and clean hotel. Noisy and busy neighbourhood. Ask for a back more quiet room. Good service and nice restaurant. Make sure your taxi driver understands the directions to the... More

I had some trepidation about booking a "deluxe 2 star" hotel in India, but the photographs looked fine. My experience was fine. I was picked up in the hotel minibus - they were there waiting when my flight arrived despite extremely heavy traffic. The room was small for two, but then I was travelling alone so that was unimportant. The... More
