We've spent 3 night total and I can only reccomend this place in Mumbay. Location is perfect - we didn't need taxi to visit Gateway of India. Breakfast included is OK and served to your room (there is no restaurant). You can choose toast, omlet or Indian breakfast. Wi-fi is turned off during night (like midnight to 6 a.m.). There... More

What I like is: Location, very clean, good staff, tourist information and options for things to see and do. Manager Nilesh knows how to run an international budget operation. It's a pity there are not more like him in India.

I went to mumbai for the first time with my friends. I wad quite apprehensive about the stay as I had booked it online. But I was very happy when I reached there. We walked down to taj, gate way of india, colaba. Beautiful and safe location to stay. Totally worth it.

We got in lat 2am and had to wait 30 minutes for our air con room to be cleaned. We tipped them hoping that would get them to move faster. The bed was without sheets and we froze in our room. There was nowhere to eat our breakfast that was included. People sleeping outside our room on plastic chairs. Internet... More

Everybody was extremelly nice and helpful. The hotel dates from imperial times and you cannot expect ti to be grand, but it has the basics, it is well located and the personnel outstanding. Most likely, we will be back. Caution, there is no lifts and if you have problems with stairs, stay away.

Stayed for one night in Jan-14. Hotel is located within walking distance from Mumbai's goodies and staff is nice and helpful with good tips to explore city. My room was nice, clean, small and inexpensive. I will stay here in my future Mumbai visits.

Rooms was small, bedding was dirty, floor grubby and bathroom musty, definately a place where sleeping on a sarong and under a damp beach towel were better. In the morning, the staff couldn't agree on what we'd agreed on upon arrival, and came across as rude, aggressive and confrontational, despite the umpteen posters behind the desk explaining that customer satisfaction... Staff were extremely rude & aggressive. Rooms are small & unclean. Bedding could do with being changed or simply cleaned! Very small shower/toilet. Unfriendly atmosphere. We checked out early & up graded! Only thing it has going for itself is it's located centrally.

Have zero complaints for the budget end hotel that it is... We paid 2000 rupees a night for a similar room that we had in Udaipur for 800... It is Mumbai and Mumbai is expensive... The staff were great, it was clean, neat and a close walk to all of the cool bits...
