We stayed in this hotel after arriving late at night (2 a.m.). The taxi which took us there couldnt find the exact location, bug managed in the end. The door from the street was closed so we thought: "well this is where we are gonna spend the night, on the street". After getting in, we found, that the actual hotel... More

Still not bad, but certainly not the cheap go to, as LP suggests. Big enough rooms, clean, and friendly staff. But overpriced for what it is. Breakfast was meager, but it still is included. Good hotel, just don't expect it to be a budget.

The accommodation itself is basic, but the staff with their helpfulness makes it a worthwhile place to stay. We got into a sticky situation in Mumbai and they were very forthcoming in helping us out. Is also very centrally located making it easy to access great foody spots and landmarks. Went on a slum tour organised by them; not to... More

There are two hotels going by this name in Mumbai. The one near the airport is not the one in lonely planet. We arrived here at around 4am after flying into Mumbai late. Its only about 20 minutes from the airport which is convenient however, beware, the late night taxis are massively overpriced! (but hard to avoid at that time... More

Dear Clare Great to Hear from you. It is unfortunate that the hotel staff was sleeping while at work, this will not happen again. The rooms that were given to you were in the center of the larger hall, we will keep that in mind, next time when you come we will give you a room which has a window.... More

Although you need clear instructions in order for the taxi drivers to find here, it is worth it. Not cheap compared to the rest of India (expected of course), this hotel is in a safe area, a quiet off street, and the rooms were really clean. There is wifi in the rooms and the showers were hot and powerful :)... More

We've spent 3 night total and I can only reccomend this place in Mumbay. Location is perfect - we didn't need taxi to visit Gateway of India. Breakfast included is OK and served to your room (there is no restaurant). You can choose toast, omlet or Indian breakfast. Wi-fi is turned off during night (like midnight to 6 a.m.). There... More

What I like is: Location, very clean, good staff, tourist information and options for things to see and do. Manager Nilesh knows how to run an international budget operation. It's a pity there are not more like him in India.

I went to mumbai for the first time with my friends. I wad quite apprehensive about the stay as I had booked it online. But I was very happy when I reached there. We walked down to taj, gate way of india, colaba. Beautiful and safe location to stay. Totally worth it.

We got in lat 2am and had to wait 30 minutes for our air con room to be cleaned. We tipped them hoping that would get them to move faster. The bed was without sheets and we froze in our room. There was nowhere to eat our breakfast that was included. People sleeping outside our room on plastic chairs. Internet... More

Everybody was extremelly nice and helpful. The hotel dates from imperial times and you cannot expect ti to be grand, but it has the basics, it is well located and the personnel outstanding. Most likely, we will be back. Caution, there is no lifts and if you have problems with stairs, stay away.
