The cheapest accommodation in Mumbai by far but very basic. One toilet for 20 girls in the dorm. Breakfast is included. Great location though, Colaba markets are close and easy to get around from here. You get exactly what you pay for, not great compared to other places for the same price in different cities

I am a regular customer here. Dorms will cost you Rs.350 per head whereas rooms will come above Rs. 500. This include a breakfast which includes bread, banana and egg. You will have a pleasant stay without any worries. But, if you are looking for luxury, this is not your place. Most rewarding is the stories and experiences you hear... More

This is the cheapest budget option in Colaba, and it shows. The included breakfast is passable but bread is untoasted. The staff aren't very helpful and demanded up front payment for everything, including holding our bags for a few hours. The rules are tedious. We had a double room on the third floor- they showed us one on the second... More

We payed 1100 for a double room, its on the cheaper side for Mumbai, the room and bathroom attached was large (we were put into a triple room tho). It was a very dull place and the staff weren't the nicest. The bed sheets didn't seemed to be washed as you could see dirt on them and it was not... More

It may not be the most comfortable or clean guesthouse to be in, but there is no cheaper alternative in Mumbai. Mind you: the average hotel in this mega-city can cost no less than 20 times more than this old guesthouse. And they even give you a (dreary and dull) complimentary breakfast. Shared bedrooms, hot water, etc. All that in... More

The hostel's location is definitely the best thing about it. It's a 5 min walk to the Gateway of India and in the heart of Colaba. The rooms/dorms are slightly too expensive given what they offer. Especially the rooms facing south are very hot. Up to this point, I would rate the hostel 3.5/5. However, the staff screws it up.... More

Could write a lot about this place and it would mostly be negative. But there were a couple of good points; it's very centrally located in Bombay (close to the gateway to India) and it was cheap as chips if you stay in a dorm (350 rupee p/n incl breakfast). Aside from those good points this was easily the worst... More

Great location, located next to the Indian gate, with beautiful views at the ocean. The dorm rooms are very cheap! But the double rooms are a little bit expensive if you are on low budget. Rooms are very clean! Big washroom! Good breakfast. Only early check-out (9.00am) may be bothersome for some.

We paid 1100 rupees for a double room with breakfast. There is no bathroom attached to the room, so you have to walk through the coridor to take a shower. Breakfast is very basic, does not worth the price of the room. It is better to look around and you will find something cheaper.
