Wow ! what a sight as we neared the Place at night time the huge lighted structure could not be missed by anyone's attention. Magnificently lit up at night a truly grand heritage to visit and experience it actually is much more than words which are used to describe it. We explored it before having dinner at the huge centrally... More

One of the beautiful Palace Heritages of India , we had visited for dinner. The night view is of course stunning with all the lights and splendor. As we checked out the interior I had this feeling I would come back to stay at some point of time due to its elegance and charm. A huge palace to explore .... More

The first tip-off should have been the fact the parking lot was a ghost land. The moment you enter, you feel like the place is somewhat stale and dingy. We were taken to our hotel (in the old part of the palace) in a lift that my children loved. It is the original 100-year old lift with a seat inside.... More

We Zeroed down to this hotel for an experience of staying in a Palace... The Structure is so majestic and lovely that you fall in love at the very first sight... As you park your car.. You see a Chariot waiting for a paid ride.. 100 bucks for 2 rounds and a kingly feel in the seating structure.. The Hotel... More

Stayed here while visiting Mysore, for an experience of the royal grandeur, but it wasn't really an experience I would go back to - it was a huge let-down due to the bad state of maintenance at the palace. Suggestion would be to stop over for a lunch & tour the palace. You can request them to get you a... More

It was my childhood dream to stay in this Hotel since we all revered the Mysore Royal Family being part of Mysore Area! Though I got to stay in not its prime days, it was still royal in many ways. The very property itself is located in a serene location overlooking a part of Chamundi Hills. The rooms are clean.... More

A palace built by the maharaja Wadeyavar of Mysore for the British to reside.Amazing history ,furniture dating back to nearly a hundred years old. A beautiful old and ornate lift takes one to the Royal suite with Victorian furniture. The bathroom has a shanks bath imported from England by the Maharaja for the Vicerene and Viceroy( possibly Lord Reading) in... More

This was a real palace and is a huge one. Excellent place. Though the rooms, furniture are old type. Maintained fairly well. Food is no that good. Should be improved a lot. All other facilities are good.

We visited Mysore on a family trip an stayed at Lalitha Mahal palace on 18th, 19th, 20th June 2015. We stayed in Heritage room 25 and 24, Interconnecting twin rooms.
