We stayed in the Hertiage rooms felt royal. Its not a usual star hotel, its different; also you should ask them for a tour around the hotel(palace) it was a sightseeing experience by itself. The kids enjoyed the tonga ride. The bathrooms were not up to the standard though. The breaskfast also was very limited and ordinary.

The hotel is beautifully made but the service issues annoy a lot. Staff is not at all keen to help (the waiters at the restaurant do not even want to serve water and try to look away from eyes so that guests do not call them). Luckily we met a manager level guy who was prompt and served us himself... More

We were looking forward to stay in this palace that from the distance looks really royal. This impression changed the moment we came in. Reception is just a desk in a quite somber hall. We were guided to our room in a quite old / classy elevator. We were supposed to have the best room available, the Viceroy suite. It... More

It would be hard to find a more spectacular building for a hotel and I've stayed here many times over the past 15 years. It's outside Mysore, so you need a taxi to get into town, but that was always worth it for the sheer beauty of the building. Unfortunately, its "faded grandeur" has now become "frankly grubby". The management... More

We didn't actually stay here so can't comment on accommodation, but it's a beautiful old hotel and the public areas are stunning and well maintained. The old school bar opens at 7pm and is a very pleasant place to stop by for a gin and tonic, and maybe a game of billiards on the full size (but slightly jaded!) table.... More

An old palace that has been modified into a hotel. Located slightly on outskirts of city, it will take you only 5 minutes to reach the Zoo and 10 minutes to the Mysore palace. Very beautiful during the day when you can enjoy a sofa cushioned buggy ride within the hotel grounds at reasonable rates. At night, it looks beautiful... More

I have nothing to say about the location and the hotel. It's a palace!! What I would like to mention is the courteous staff. The services are not like a commodity, its personalized. That's what I loved about the hotel. Mysore as a city itself is warm with wonderful people and the hotel does not fail in carrying the same... More
