The location is great. You are welcomed into a beautiful home. The rooms are immaculate, tastefully done and filled with beautiful art. Meals are a delight. The rooftop garden is the place to greet the sunset. Stephen and Majula have a wealth of knowledge about Mysore and surrounding areas. They will give you valuable suggestions. This was the perfect place to... More

This truely is a home from home. The owner is very welcoming to us and our two small children. The rooms were a decent size and the share living space vast. It has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The food was amazing. Majula is an amazing cook and even prepared soya pancakes for breakfast as a treat for our dairy intolerant... More

There's not much I can add to all the other superlatives heaped on this wonderful B&B in other reviews. Manjula & Stephen make you feel like one of their extended family with excellent humour and a warm hearty welcome. The only difficult part about staying here is leaving it at the end of your stay! The lack of attached private... More

Loved the location, the rooms and food, I recommend a room on the lower floor as they seem to be cooler in temperature and more private. It was a great place to end our month long trip. Thumbs up for staying here

This is overdue. I stayed here for a couple of days in January and wish every place had somewhere like it. This is basically Steve's house with bedrooms he rents out (his description is absolutely accurate). The facilities aren't luxurious or fancy but scrupulously clean and meet all needs. Breakfast (and dinner if there is one) are served in a... More

Stayed here in February for 3 nights. It was our first time in India and this was an excellent start. Our host was Stephen with a great contribution by Manjula who keeps the house spotless and cooks great breakfasts and dinners. We were met at Bangalore airport by Stephen's driver and had an introduction to India's roads in a journey... More

We came as a family and just loved it! Everything was just super. The hospitality, the rooms, the food which Mangula cooked for us....everything. We had great talks with Steven. We got great tips for the rest of our stay. We highly recommend this place which makes everything possible for you yo feel at home away from home.

Our stay at Mysore BnB was a highlight of our time in India. If you’re passing through Mysore, STAY HERE. In fact, if you’re not planning on stopping through Mysore during a jaunt in South India, we’d recommend adjusting your itinerary in order to stay a few days at this BnB! We planned our month in South India (moving from... More

Thank you for a great review. We really enjoyed getting to know you. So pleased you included us in your programme. We do however think there is tons to do in and around Mysore :-) and now see most people spending a minimum of a few days here in the city. Really enjoyed our conversations especially on the MYcycle tour... More

The good thing about this B&B (and there are many), is the information that is sent out beforehand which made the stay so much easier. I was sent details about getting to the premises, including the approximate cost, places to visit during the stay, including cycle trips around Mysore and the local island. The B&B is situated in a quiet... More

We had a wonderful experience spending four days in Mysore. Stephen is very entertaining and a wealth of information while Manjula held down the fort, cooking good food and taking care of us when one of our party fell ill. Great common space, a clean and peaceful feel. We heard great things about Stephen's bike tour, but couldn't go ourselves.... More

Thank you for visiting us and so pleased you had a great time. Thanks you for mentioning Manjula who,of course holds it all together. She is forever telling me I do nothing.... But I'm the booking clerk :-) she does of course create a great atmosphere. Vasanth as you rightly point out is also an indispensable part of the team.... More
