On our month long trip we stayed here and it was by far the best place we stayed. From the start you just felt like you were walking in to someones house. Manjula and Stephen make you feel so welcome. The food was amazing and it's so lovely to sit up on the rooftop with a book. It was christmas... More

Stephen and Manjula were extremely welcoming and we loved Mysore and our night at the bnb. It's quite small compared to most bnb's that I've been to but this is a good thing. The house really nice and there's tons of great artwork, interesting books and space to commune. Couldn't ask for anything more. The food was great. Thanks guys.

Straight-talking Yorkshireman and diminutive Indian lady make for a winning duo! Manjula keeps everything in order and is a fine Cook. Stephen loves to chat and is a font of knowledge. Don't miss his bike tour to the island which was one of the highlights of our trip to India. The small band of friendly rickshaw drivers is a great... More

My second visit to Stephen and Manjula's place did not disappoint! Lucy (the dog) is fatter, but still as lovable. Stephen's cycle tours are great and getting better. Don't miss either the one to Srirangapatna or the one around Mysore. If you find a better and more welcoming place to saty in India, I'll be surprised.

Thanks to Stephen and Manjula for a super first time visit to Mysore. Prior to arriving we'd done a little bit of research and concluded that whilst Mysore seemed a very nice place not much more to it than the Palace. How wrong can you be. We'd been met at the station by Vassan one of the rickshaw drivers and... More

Stephen welcomes you to his home and you really REALLY feel welcome. The room, house, facilities and breakfast is great, from what I've heard Manjulas dinners are also great but we did not have the opportunity to experience that this time. We had a great time and our only regret is that we did not stay longer (2 nights), but... More

This is a full on hospitality experience. The rambunctious Steve and the diminutive Munjula make a perfect combination. The plus points are the easy communication and the attention to your every need . The negative ,for some may be the shared toilets the bucket shower, the 10 min auto ride into town and the corner double ( means you have... More

Mysore Bed and Breakfast is jewel. Steve and Manjula are great hosts providing enjoyable accommodation excellent food and helpful advice. They are not the sort of rooms and facilities you find in a five star hotel; they are not grand just a comfortable and, by turns, relaxing and stimulating environment. Meals around a table with the hosts and the other... More

I hope the continuing travels were fab and thanks to M&D for recommending that you come and stay. As we've now had the BnB for three years we're increasingly getting guests from recommendations so we know we're likely to and are getting really great people. It was a real pleasure to meet you guys and to get a review from... More

Thankyou to Stephen and Manjula for a fantastic 16 night stay at Mysore B&B. Everything you could wish for from a friendly, family home. We were Instantly made to feel part of the family with great food and wit from the lovely Manjula and Mysore Cycles (and even more wit) from Stephen. An excellent place to meet people and chat... Spot on mate. So pleased you decided to stay longer and become part of the furniture ;-) as you know it works well with all the different living spaces so people can choose to be part or have their own private space within the house. It was great having you as one of our longer stay guests and hilarious seeing... More
