Fantastic hotel. In the heart of New Delhi but as soon as you walk in front door all mayhem is blocked out. A very luxurious safe hotel. Very nice for the price at £20 a night! Would recommend to anyone. Lovely roof terrace with excellent bar staff.

Very clean and nice room, moved to larger one on arrival and my wife and I thought it was great. Very happy to recommend this hotel. Only issue was the restaurant only opens at 10am which means if you want breakfast before you head out around the city you had better find somewhere else to eat. Could also only get... More

The rooftop restaurant was delicious and offered great service. It is located right on the Main Bazaar so it is in a great spot to wander around without having to go too far. In the end they tried to charge us an extra fee for arriving early, make sure to ask about all fees on arrival so as not to... More

This being my 4th visit to India, I've always slept in Main Bazaar area mainly in dingy rooms, this time I was looking to upgrade myself a little and though to try this hotel. I have always come here to enjoy the AMAZING Indian food - really superb with specialty in the Tandoori department. You really have to try having... More

We stayed three nights, not cheapest place but good prices compared to others very expencive in connaughat place, which is very closed. The hotel seems very good at first look but the sheets were with holes and there were beatles in the bath. We spent 2000rps which could be considered a bit high for the place but still good. The... This guest house met all my needs and was reasonably clean. The staff was friendly. My room was a bit noisy since it was on the street side but not bad, especially if you go to bed a bit later, as I do. The real draw here is not the hotel but the attached restaurant which was tasty (if a... More

I booked here because of all the positive reviews. I was surprised to find the lobby so dark and pokey and when I was going upstairs to the room I really wondered if I'd got the wrong hotel as it was dark and gloomy. The room was a nice surprise though with a great shower in the bathroom....not always easy... More

The room was lovely, the bed so comfortable and big. I'm 6ft so it was nice to have a bed that I wasn't balancing my feet on the foot board or kicking it all night for a change. The bathroom was better than some I've encountered in Britain. The meal we had in the restaurant was delicious and I can't... More

I travel to India a couple of times a year and have stayed at the Metroplis three times now. On my first trip I stayed in three hotels in Paha Gang, the first was rated number one by TripAdvisor but on my return to Delhi the Hari was booked out. I then stayed a couple of doors up the road... More

I stayed a few times now, and just can confirm : Great clean mordern rooms ( especially the "suites" !), excellent Rooftop-Restaurant, very friendly staff and very interesting location in the middle of the most buzy traveller bazar Pahar Ganj. Airport pickup and drop service works fine, bookings and reservations via email work welll, nothing to complain at all.
