We stayed here for two nights after the hotel was recommended on the Man in Seat 61 website. It is close to the main train station and we were travelling out of Delhi by train so it seemed to fit the bill. The area around the hotel is certainly interesting and hectic but the hotel provides a nice respite in... More

Situated in noisy, touristy Pahar Ganj, this hotel was an oasis. As soon as we stepped through the door, we felt at ease. The rooms were very quiet, had AC, and were very comfortable. The bathrooms were fantastic and the showers were luxurious after weeks of traveling. The staff is incredibly friendly and provided us with above and beyond service.... More

Had been at this hotel now for the third time. Booking via mail strait forward, uncomplicated an quick. Airport pickup and dropping via hotel worked always perfect - price for that at the upper limit. * Rooms and facility very clean. Sanitary complelety working. AC. Good wifi ! Reasobable price * Fine (extra to pay, good coffee) breakfast. * Good... More

We spent one night here after a long train ride into Delhi. The best aspect of the hotel is its location. It's a 10-15 minute walk from the train station and on the main bazaar strip with lots of activity. Additionally, it's attached to Metropolis restaurant, which has incredible food. The hotel room was also much nicer than others we... More

I just stayed one night at this hotel last May. My room was comfortable and the bed was Ok. The roof restaurant was not a good at all. The food was lousy and my glass of red wine was at Delhi's temperature, around 38 degrees, no joke. You can take the express train from the airport to New Delhi station,... More

Quiet, clean, modern and spacious rooms. Very friendly and helpful frontoffice staff, consistent quality. No annoying hardselling. The best rooftop restaurant in this neighborhood with friendly staff and very good and safe food. Next time in Delhi, I come back here for sure. I stayed in 2 other hotels in this neighborhood (same price range). Metropolis Tourist Home is the... More

first time to India, so the location was a little bit of a shock at first. It is on a very busy street with street vendort everywhere. The hotel rooms are extremly the opposite though. Clean, modern, tiled and just a nice retreat. The water is filtered, the AC works well, wifi ist fast, warm shower. Very popular roof top... More

We arrived in Delhi without hotel reservations, and we only needed a hotel for one night as we were only in Delhi between trains. We found this place in Lonely Planet and headed there. It was more expensive than the typical hotel we stay at, but they showed us two rooms - a standard room for 2000 and a deluxe... More

We ate here a few times and were very happy with the food, and our waiter was lovely! The rooftop cafe is a nice calm spot above the chaos of delhi, but like most places in the city it could do with a bit of a clean, the delhi dust gets everywhere and some of the tables and chairs looked... More
